In solemn commemoration of the April 26, 2025 tragedy in Vancouver and in honour of the wishes of survivors and families, we will gather for a Mass at the St. Andrew’s Parish on April 10, 2026 at 2 p.m., and a community dinner at the Fraserview Banquet Hall on April 12 at 5 p.m.

A big round of applause for the Firefly Youth Network and its 3rd Light of Hope Charity Concert on March 22, 2026 this year. Funds raised will help make a positive difference for children in British Columbia and the Yukon who get care from the BC Children’s Hospital. @BCCHF

BC is strengthening public health care by attracting more health-care professionals from the US.
Since launching targeted recruitment in March 2025, we’ve received more than 2,750 job applications from US health-care professionals.

We stand in solidarity with the victims of the April 26, 2025 tragedy in Vancouver and their families. At a lunch gathering last weekend, they said again that they don’t want another festival in 2026. They wish to commemorate those who were lost in prayer and solemn remembrance.

This morning I wrote to 17 Pride groups to say we’ll proceed with their request for a motion to support the Human Rights Code. Every MLA who supports the Code should vote to defend it. We need to stand up for human rights, not give ground to those who would take them away.

How we talk to, and about women in politics matters.
Minister Green is an experienced politician. She’s a cabinet minister.
The way this other MLA spoke to and about this woman is appalling.
It’s also false.
That government is majority women, and none of them are weak. They’re all strong, smart and capable.
He needs to apologize, in the same format the disrespect occurred- publicly.
