@TheRMVoice @ShainaCole_ The single defining characteristic of Leftists is the inability to grasp the relationship between Cause and Effect. It's like they believe in fairies and elves, instead of empirical evidence. And anyone disagreeing is "mean." Cue the "Be Good" sticker on every second Subaru.

Just a reminder - again - that Denver could reduce violent crime by 50% or more just by ensuring that the ~1000 people who commit most violent crime actually go to prison for it It's a policy choice to not lock that small group up

Any elite school that has a black share above 2% is likely still engaged in racial preferences in favor of blacks. If elite universities want to reduce their population-disproportionate Asian student body percentages they will have to change what their academic mission is all about — it needs to be less about valuing academic performance and intelligence in their students, and more about valuing other things. (Which, thank goodness, is not going to happen.) Because, let me tell you, the far-right tail of the IQ distribution curve is brutal (almost no blacks and fewer whites than Asians), and as long as Asians dominate it the way they do, the elites are going to have Asian-heavy student bodies.
Alec MacGillis@AlecMacGillis

"After the 2023 ban on affirmative action, the share of Black students in Hopkins’ first-year class nosedived. The year before the ban, Black students made up 10% of the first-year class. The year after, they amounted to just 3%....'It feels like everyone is Asian now.'”

I'm just not sure that I really have the bandwidth to care anymore. For my entire life, I've been fed the idea that if we provide food, medicine, money, and infrastructure to Africans, then they will eventually find their way out of their miserable situation. But they haven't and in all likelihood, they never will. In fact, everything we do to help them just seems to make it even worse. No one - absolutely no one - takes pleasure in seeing children starve. But the constant violence and war and killing and raping and starving and poverty and illness...it's just neverending. I'm at the point where I just think we need to let nature take its course and let their population naturally reduce to a level they can independently sustain. We can't fix these people, and we're going to have to just accept that killing each other is just how they go about their lives.

🇸🇩 In Sudan, more than 60% of the population is suffering from acute food shortages, with millions forced to eat leaves or animal feed to survive. According to the 2026 Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan, 61.7% of the population, around 28.9 million people, are acutely food-insecure. Tens of millions in Sudan are living on just one meal a day as the crisis deepens. The war between the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Sudanese Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, now entering its third year, has displaced millions and fueled one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises. Reports based on interviews with farmers, traders, and humanitarian workers describe how the war is pushing communities toward famine, driven by the collapse of agriculture and the use of starvation as a weapon, including the deliberate destruction of farms and markets. Aid systems are under severe strain. Communal kitchens are struggling to meet growing demand, while funding cuts are limiting the ability of humanitarian organizations to respond. Women and girls are among the most affected, facing heightened risks of violence and rapes when going to fields, markets, or even collecting water. After years of intense Gaza reporting, the international mainstream media is turning a blind eye to the suffering in Sudan. Why?

@EileenforCO The only way Colorado can recover from this existential tailspin is by electing LESS Democrats. Unless you are for open borders, men in women's sport, more anti 2A laws, criminal friendly DAs, Socialist policies, and a higher cost of living. Did I leave anything out?

This campaign is for everyone. Democrats, progressives, independents, Republicans, and anyone frustrated with the broken system all have a place here. What unites Coloradans are the challenges they share, and by coming together around those shared problems, this campaign is delivering leadership that shows up, listens, and gets results for the people.

Viktor Orban didn’t cancel any elections and never arrested people for social media posts. He also stepped down after his election loss and is partaking in a peaceful transfer of power. But, don’t forget, he was a dictator. Keir Starmer attempted to cancel about 1,000 local council elections next month and arrests about 12,000 people a year for social media posts. He also refused to let a rival run for a seat in a by-election because he was worried it would be a threat to his leadership. But, don’t forget, he’s a democratic leader.

The government just fired the two immigration judges who refused to deport Rümeysa Öztürk and Mohsen Mahdawi. The immigration judge who ordered my deportation—Jamee E. Comans—was promoted right after issuing her decision against me. This is why they drag us into immigration "court." It's a kangaroo court: the administration is judge, jury, and executioner. I never had faith I'd get justice there. The federal courts are the only place left where this mockery can be stopped. We'll see if they do the right thing.
Nicholas Nehamas@NickNehamas

Exclusive: The Trump administration has fired two immigration judges who blocked the deportations of Rumeysa Ozturk and Mohsen Mahdawi, two int'l students who expressed pro-Palestinian views. Four other judges were fired on Friday too.

🚨 Denver, Bill 26-0328 is back this week. DSA-backed candidates are pushing hard to weaken penalties for theft, drug use, vandalism, trespass, and illegal camping…calling them “poverty-based offenses.” That’s dangerous NONSENSE. These aren’t victimless crimes. They destroy neighborhoods and quality of life. Jail exists for a reason: to punish lawbreakers and protect the public. This bill goes far beyond the narrow Camp ruling fix. It’s a broad giveaway to repeat offenders, signaling Denver is open for more chaos. Denverites are fed up with soft-on-crime policies. 📢 Take action NOW: Email your City Council member and demand they VOTE NO on 26-0328. Keep any fix limited to the Camp ruling only; leave the rest of Denver’s penalties alone. Council emails: - D1: District1@denvergov.org - D2: District2@denvergov.org - D3: District3@denvergov.org - D4: District4CityCouncil@denvergov.org - D5: DenverCouncil5@denvergov.org - D6: Paul.Kashmann@denvergov.org - D7: District7@denvergov.org - D8: District8@denvergov.org - D9: District9@denvergov.org - D10: District10@denvergov.org - D11: District11@denvergov.org - At-Large: G-Gutierrez.atlarge@denvergov.org - At-Large: ParadyAtLarge@denvergov.org Copy, paste, and send. I lived in Hungary for several years under the Orbán dictatorship. The funny thing was, people could and did say whatever came into their heads, protests were held in front of the parliament, there was a gay cruise bar down the road and Orbán held elections. And yet, the country was a dictatorship. Whereas in the UK, people tend to be distinctly guarded and if they do say the wrong thing very publicly, they get locked up. And yet, it's a free country. Once you understand that words can mean whatever we want them to mean, it begins to make sense.

Popped Culture - A Safugee living in the US 🇺🇸
🚨 Refugee Programme Update 🚨 Exactly 3 months ago today I boarded a plane in Johannesburg with a suitcase and a carry-on, that's it. Niks, nada, fokol, nil compensation. I was so scared and had no idea how I was going to do this, but I knew that if I didn't, I would die. It's been a wild ride and I've loved trying to make the experience real for all of you, sharing all the ups and downs of life as a refugee in the US (although the negatives were very few and far between🤣) but I can honestly say that I love my new life here and will continue to fight for equality in South Africa to make it safer for those who can't leave or don't want to. The gratitude that I have down from the depths of my soul for what the Trump Administration and the American people have done for us can't be explained, and I will spend every single breath that I have left in my body, for the rest of my life, trying to repay this debt of kindness. God bless America and the American people 🇺🇸

This Southern Rhodesia One Pound note has been handed down to me by my family for safe keeping. In the bottom left is a farm scene. That is Summerfield Farm. Established by my pioneer great great grandfather Alexander 'Sandy' Tulloch. Established in 1894, it was the 1st farm in Penhalonga and the 1st to grow commercial fruit. Today, it is a Chinese owned open cast gold mine.

@MannyRutinel Hey cholo, Trump won the election on reversing the massive flow of Biden's illegals. So stopping him is undemocratic. Also, why are you proud to represent illegals? Did your community college law school teach anything about federal immigration law? Now kindly fuck off.

For me, stopping Trump and ICE is personal. This District is full of Latino families like mine who are terrified of being torn apart. We need a Representative who will fight back against Trump and ICE. Not one who sides with ICE to let them raid our schools and hospitals. Join the fight. Link in bio.

Last week David Axelrod, Obama's former senior advisor and a longtime Democrat strategist met with Pope Leo XIV. Days later, Pope Leo is attacking Trump and three cardinals appeared on 60 Minutes to attack the president. I don't believe in coincidences. This is nothing more than a coordinated attack on the president of the United States by the Vatican. And quite frankly, it is both distasteful and unChristian.
