For the last month I worked on a non-bs guide to crypto GTM. To anchor it in real-world examples, I spoke with founders & early team members of Aave, ZORA, POAP, Snapshot, L2Beat, Zerion, SushiSwap & others to find how they unlocked their growth. Now the guide is finally out👇

AI lets everyone be a creative director. And we see so much slop because most people either don't have a clear creative vision or have really bad taste.

@eddylazzarin Does it mean that inventing something millions of people use and coordinating the market is without value? 🤔

AOC: You can't create a billion dollars of value. Glazer: That's right. AOC: You just can't create that much value. Glazer: That's exactly correct. AOC: You can invent something millions of people use. You can coordinate capital, engineers, factories, logistics, software, suppliers, customers, and risk. You can build a product that changes how people live for the better. Glazer: Yup. AOC: You can make things cheaper, faster, more available, or more useful than they were before. Glazer: Yup. AOC: You can rearrange an entire market so that billions of people voluntarily choose what you made over what existed before. Glazer: Yup. AOC: But you can't create value, right? Glazer: That's right. AOC: And so you have to create a myth that, since people keep buying the thing, since investors keep funding it, since workers keep joining it, since competitors keep copying it, since society keeps using it, somehow value was created.
Breitbart News@BreitbartNews

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: You can't earn a billion dollars. Ilana Glazer: That's right. AOC: You just can't earn that. Glazer: That's exactly correct. AOC: You can get market power. You can break rules. You can do all sorts of things. You can abuse labor laws. Glazer: Yup. AOC: You can pay people less than what they're worth. Glazer: Yup. AOC: But you can't earn that, right? Glazer: That's right. AOC: And so you have to create a myth that -- since you didn't earn that, you have to create a myth of earning it.

And yes, I know you can set up multi-sig but it's imo way worse UX than Authenticator App.

Is there any wallet that uses 2FA for moving around bigger amounts? I'd happily connect an authenticator app to a wallet, so I have a backstop if someone drains my wallet.

stoked to announce that im joining @ethena to lead a new product which will be revealed publicly soon after my last job, i thought i would take a longer time off but some opportunities don't wait for you there is a very short time window where you need to act or the opportunity may not be there in that form a few months later this was the case here everything i'm passionate about, reunited in one product all the stars aligned for that industry segment to explode over the next few years everything i've done in crypto so far, all the skills i acquired seem like preparation for this next chapter more soon

── Dappcon 2026 Speaker ── Great products don't spread automatically. They never did. 🎙 @MacBudkowski ↳ "Distribution Advantage: How to Set Up GTM for Your Crypto Product without BS" He will give a talk about the real growth dynamics behind Aave, ZORA, Uniswap, Tether, and others — and what founders actually did to get attention from the right users, in a world where building is cheap and attention is the real bottleneck.

We don't appreciate enough the impact that YC, 'Social Network' and the SV in general had on young people. If it wasn't for them, the smartest kids would optimize trading strategies on Wall Street instead of building products that change people's lives.
Deedy@deedydas

Jane Street made ~$40B in 2025 with 3,500 employees, a ~2x from the year before. At ~65-70% profit margin, that's $8M profit / employee, the highest for a 1000+ ppl company. High-frequency trading continues to be the most efficient money making engine. I want to share an old story about my Jane Street interview in 2014. Jane Street was known for hiring a lot of math, physics and CS olympiad winners from top universities and putting them through many rounds - including, for trading roles, a gauntlet of mental math. It was my 6th interview and my final round and I recall being asked "What is the next day after today in DD/MM/YYYY where all the digits are unique?" They'd toy with you and say "You can use a pencil and paper, if you want" but you knew that was an instant no. Painstakingly and as quickly as I could, I came to an answer. "How confident are you that this is correct on a 0-1 probability scale?" the interviewer said. "0.95", I blurted out, not fully knowing how to answer that. "Are you sure?" After thinking harder for a few more seconds, I realized I could've flipped the digits around to get a closer date. I gave the interviewer my answer. It was correct. "0.95 huh?" he chuckled. That's when I knew I failed. Note: fwiw, other companies that come close in efficiency are - Tether ($90M+ profit/emp) - Hyperliquid ($80M+ profit/emp) and on revenue: - Valve ($50M/emp) - OnlyFans ($37M/emp) - Craigslist ($14M/emp) - Anthropic ($12M/emp, run rate) - OpenAI ($8M/emp, run rate) For comparison, Nvidia is very efficient at scale and is $4.4M/emp.

@TrustlessState Probably for the same reason why hackers who compromised a Safe developer machine only exploited ByBit and not any other. It was a targeted attack.

Announcing immediate end of @AaveChan Frontier program. For years we operated ETH staking nodes on behalf of the Aave DAO. Given current situation, we are exiting all validators and will make all ETH available for the Aave DAO to potentially protect the wETH depositors. Obviously we're renouncing to all latent revenue associated for the service to reduce potential impact for users. It won't help much but seems like the right thing to do now. I'll post more info on the Aave governance forum shortly.

@peter_szilagyi I had some problems with LOT and if you ask your friend lawyer to write to them on your behalf, they change the tone very fast.

I assume it's cheaper to just disregard flight rules and pay the occasional idiot who actually goes to court against LOT. I mean, who's going to waste time for a $100 flight, right?

Mental note to never fly with @LOTPLAirlines: They just delayed my return flight by 2 days, but since it's more than 14 days out, any extra costs are supposedly my problem. EU says they need to provide an earlier flight. LOT says they don't care =)

Where do online communities live now? Facebook feels like it's mostly boomers and people using Marketplace. Discord and WhatsApp are hard to follow. Where are brand building online community now?

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Aave as we launch Aave V4 on the Ethereum mainnet. Aave V4 is a next-generation lending protocol designed to expand Aave’s lending capabilities and establish the foundation for lending market structure for all finance.
