@joncstone At Exning Rd, it's arguably safer to follow the purple line.
Double bend (circled) makes that a bit dangerous S'bound. (I saw a bus + car collide here last year.)
Currently the road in black box is closed for ~2-3 months and one-way @ end bit

@joncstone Some of the C54 signs that have gone up on the Silvertown Way corridor.
There a generic route sign off it for City Airport, but the final C54 sign directs to Royal Docks (towards the new ExCeL extension). Potentially will run on to Beckton.

@joncstone One issue for southbound cyclists along Deptford Church St is the lengthy red cycle🚦at this pedestrian crossing... unnecessarily stays red even while the pedestrian signal is red!
@joncstone Look like the deep shaft on Arthur St that went down to the 🚂 station below... has finally been (or is almost) closed up.
The planned changes at the bridge end of the road will hopefully follow soon.
It might be better to map this @FootwaysLondon route via the staggered pelican crossing on Mare St + the south side of St Thomas's Sq. The central cycle track on Mare St wasn't designed/intended to be used as pedestrian refuge island.
Some suggestions for @FootwaysLondon in Hackney: (1) There are some missing sections of a signed pedestrian/cycle route between Finsbury Park + Victoria Park (delivered for 2012 Olympics) - #route?id=8119460" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">cycling.waymarkedtrails.org/#route?id=8119…
@joncstone@joncstone The stretch of Canonbury Place that featured in this week's video did get resurfaced on Friday.
(Re this week's video: Swimmers Lane is beside the entrance to a swimming pool.)
@joncstone A little further north, the Canonbury St roadway is closed for repairs to the burst pipe that caused local flooding earlier this week. Crossing unlikely to open till this closure ends.
At the end of Aug Canonbury Place will have 2 days of road closure, hopefully for resurfacing.
@joncstone In case you haven't seen them, these are the new monster cycle tracks in Meridian Water, running around 3 sides of the former Ikea.
Mostly built, though not completed yet at the SW corner of IKEA.
@joncstone One long awaited recent change that might have passed your attention: contraflow cycling has been introduced on Delamere Terrace near Little Venice.
(There is currently a closure to the Green at the west end of the contraflow.)

@joncstone The Essex Rd crossing is open now. Might be permanent... might not be.
Thames Water have finished on Canonbury St (burst pipe), so that is fully open too.
3 of the 4 end points of the E-W cycle tracks along Essex Rd remain barriered.
@joncstone
@joncstone Some barriers had been moved (slightly) before the weekend (not necessarily officially) which made the crossing 'open'. They could be back in place now.
I know that there was flooding around there yesterday due to a burst pipe, but I haven't been there since Sun.
@JoannaDonnellyL I'm just explaining the layout, which appeared to be what you were asking about. I never said I was a fan of mixing with trams.
Even if the marked cycle lane continued along here, the tramlines would still be there to be crossed if you were cycling straight ahead.
Real quick question for planners. What’s supposed to happen here? I took my bike to the dart station but rather than take the bike in to the city to speed up my visit I locked it at the station. This is part of the why. So I’m walking. #cycling#citycycling
