No because the protesters know that Israel was going to massacre Palestinians and they did on October 8th and have continued to do almost every day since then. So the protesters were sadly vindicated and those like yourself who blindly defended Israel are on the wrong side of history and morality and law.

Come on @mehdirhasan, you know exactly the point I’m making. One day after the deadliest single day for Jews since the Holocaust, there were widespread protests in the West AGAINST Israel. BEFORE Israel even responded. How do you explain that? Did the West rise up & begin to protest against Israel ONE DAY AFTER THE DEADLIEST SINGLE DAY FOR JEWS SINCE THE HOLOCAUST bcuz they were pissed off about a few initial Israeli air strikes in response? Come on man.
Mehdi Hasan@mehdirhasan

On October 8th, Joe, 313 Palestinians, including 20 children, were killed by Israeli strikes. 2,000 Palestinians were injured. So, maybe you should be the one not ‘forgetting’ key facts about this genocide.

Wait, is this real? How did I miss this? Lucas ''Bomb Tel Aviv and strike down the Jews'' Gage now claims to no longer be a Nazi and is claiming to have deradicalized?
James D. Russell 🇺🇸🎗@James_NWR

LUCAS GAGE: A Far-Right Influencer Who Left the JQ Movement, Disavowed Antisemitism, and Is Building Bridges with the Jewish Community "If I could just talk some sense into everyone, we could definitely save people’s lives." - Lucas Gage: May 2, 2026 In an era when public figures rarely admit error or pivot from entrenched ideologies, Lucas Gage @LucasGageX stands out as a compelling example of personal evolution. Once a prominent far-right influencer deeply embedded in the “JQ” (Jewish Question) podcast scene, the United States Marine Corps veteran has undergone a remarkable transformation. In June 2025, he began publicly exposing some of the movement’s most toxic grifters and antisemites. By Valentine’s Day 2026, he delivered a sincere, heartfelt announcement: he was finished with the JQ movement entirely. He disavowed antisemitism and declared his new mission to be one of building people up and forging bridges with the Jewish community. x.com/James_NWR/stat… What followed was not mere rhetoric, but concrete actions, personal integrity, and a growing body of evidence that Gage’s change is genuine. Lucas Gage’s background already hinted at a life of reinvention. Born in Italy, he immigrated to the United States as a young child and became bilingual. Before enlisting in the Marine Corps, he enjoyed success as a nightclub promoter. Today he is a devoted father, family man, and animal lover - qualities that reveal a man grounded in human connection rather than ideological combat. These personal dimensions matter because they provide the foundation for the authenticity he now projects. In the summer of 2025, that authenticity was on full display when Gage intervened to save a fellow veteran friend from suicide. Through patient counseling and conversation, he helped prevent a senseless tragedy for an American warrior battling PTSD. The episode underscored Gage’s commitment to real-world service long before his public shift became headline news within certain circles. The turning point came in June 2025. Long immersed in far-right circles, Gage began using his sizable platform to expose what he saw as the “vile and dangerous grifters and antisemites” thriving in the so-called JQ podcastistan movement. Chief among his targets was Stew Peters - one of America's most vile antisemites. Gage presented compelling online research that reportedly helped spark a two-state investigation into Peters and the alleged JProof rugpull - a financial scheme that allegedly left numerous White Nationalist families on the brink of foreclosure and bankruptcy. By the end of 2025, Gage had grown thoroughly fed up with the low-IQ grifting element that dominated parts of the scene. He continued to call out others, including Jake Shields, Elijah Schaffer, Morgan Ariel and Ken O'Keefe, and a host of additional Jew-haters who, in his view, used their platforms to lie, grift, and allegedly steal from their own audiences. The culmination arrived on Valentine’s Day 2026. In a raw and unscripted announcement, Gage declared he was done with the JQ movement. He explicitly disavowed antisemitism and stated that his future would focus on positive construction rather than destruction. Since that day, Gage has channeled his energy into life coaching and philosophy. He now promotes coaching courses and philosophical content on his new YouTube channel, aiming to elevate rather than divide. He has also reached across longstanding divides. On April 27, 2026, he sat down for coffee and an extended conversation with @JakeTurx Jake Turx, Senior White House correspondent and a devout Jewish Zionist. Afterward, Turx tweeted a measured yet powerful endorsement: “My feeling is Lucas is sincere and has come to regret the pain he’s caused and genuinely has chosen a different path. I look forward to watching him grow as a positive, productive influencer who helps make the world a better place.” Gage has not stopped there. On May 2, 2026 - just he used his YouTube broadcast to continue his disavowal of antisemitism while directly debunking some of the most persistent and damaging libels aimed at Jews: the “Jews belong in Poland” trope, the Khazarian myth, and numerous others. x.com/James_NWR/stat… He has also begun collaborating with a professor from Moscow State Lomonosov University - Russia’s equivalent of Harvard - to share his philosophical work on a broader stage. None of this has come without cost. Gage maintains a massive following of nearly 340,000 people on X (formerly Twitter). After his disavowal, roughly 7,000 - about 2 percent - unfollowed or blocked him, hurling the familiar accusations of “Mossad agent,” “Zionist sellout,” and every other conspiracy trope the low-IQ trailer-park and magic-carpet crowds can muster. Yet the overwhelming majority have remained. Many who once shared his earlier views now engage inquisitively, ask thoughtful questions, and continue to like and share his posts. The numbers tell a story of resilience: the small but noisy exodus has not derailed the larger audience that senses sincerity. To those in the Jewish community who wonder whether this change will last, the answer, based on observable evidence, is yes. One need only watch Gage’s recent appearances and note his body language - open, calm, and unscripted - to recognize a man who has genuinely turned a corner. Rome was not built in a day, and no one should expect a former far-right influencer to adopt every nuance of Jewish communal sensitivity overnight. What matters is the monumental work he is doing: systematically dismantling century-old myths and blood libels while simultaneously continuing his vital service to American veterans at risk of suicide. Both the Jewish community and Christian Zionist allies should give him credit for the courage this requires. People change. They evolve. They grow. I know this from personal experience: prior to 2010, I myself was a Democrat. I was really young and eventually abandoned what I saw as a toxic ideology in favor of conservatism and patriotism. If I could make that journey, then Lucas Gage’s transformation is equally believable - and worthy of respect. We all live and learn from past mistakes. Lucas Gage has chosen to learn publicly, at considerable personal and professional cost, and to use his platform for healing rather than harm. For anyone interested in witnessing this evolution firsthand, Gage’s YouTube channel is linked on his X profile. He broadcasts almost every night, welcoming real-time questions from viewers. Whether one agrees with every remaining nuance of his worldview or not, the direction is unmistakable: toward truth-seeking, bridge-building, and human flourishing. Thank you, Lucas Gage. What you are doing is monumental. You deserve respect. Semper Fi, Marine - and God bless America! Follow for more like this.

Can anyone think of any game sequels that were remarkably WORSE than the original? Usually the sequel is the original game perfected, and the third, while good, isn't quite as great as the second.

I actually like this version's ending the most. The Pigs destroyed themselves and left behind a wasteland, and a new human family moves in. With Jessie (the kinda protag since the movie is from her POV) wanting to make sure history doesn't repeat.

Obviously Tadhg is who he is, so this isn’t necessarily directed at him, but rather others who make such arguments and are perhaps redeemable. This is a long post, but I hope one worth reading. And I would love for it be one that prompts a respectful discussion on identity and trauma, as opposed one that descends into a screaming match or snide one-upmanship. Tadhg sneers at Howard for saying he hears ‘gas the Jews’ in his mind when he hears the anti-Israel marches outside his house, even if those are not the words that are uttered by the mob. Howard is 83 years old, he was alive when the Shoah was ongoing. At the time of his birth, the continent he was born into was attempting to exterminate the Jewish people, eventually using gas chambers in this pursuit. Tadhg, and most Irish people, will correctly cite our experience of The Great Hunger, which ended 181 years ago, as something that has had an ontological impact on us as a people. Yet most of these same people exhibit zero willingness to understand - let alone empathise with - how the Shoah has impacted the Jewish people similarly. And the Shoah was in living memory and quantifiably more vast in its devastation. I do not say this to play into ‘oppression Olympics’, I outline it as a fact by any objective metric: 6 million murdered, an entire inimitable society virtually erased from this earth in a few short years. Further, in Irish and British elite cultural and academic discourse, there is relentless messaging that any acts of terror, no matter how brutal, that Palestinians commit must be contextualised. The displacement of Palestinians in 1948 is served as context that explains away all manner of barbarity. And yet, a Jewish man born as the attempted extermination of his people was ongoing, is not permitted to speak about how that atrocity informs his observations of a marches against the world’s only Jewish State. I’m not really interested in debating the intentions of the marches in this post, that has been done ad nauseam. My point is that I think Howard’s observation of them is one that any decent, curious human being should at least sit with and try to understand. In addition, in a functioning pluralistic society, given that Howard’s observation is not an uncommon one in the British Jewish community, it is one that *at the very least* should be accepted as legitimate and taken into consideration, rather than reflexively sneered at. This understanding and consideration is given to any other cohort - especially a historically persecuted one - on the basis of their history and experience. Yet it is consistently denied of Jews.
Tehran Tadhg@TadhgHickey

This man hears "Gas the Jews" in his head. He is clearly mentally unwell. We must protect him lest Iran tries to recruit him.
