Imagine harry Kane in this same position as Thiago we are conceding hundred percent, under Amorin we saw how compact his team played very difficult to break through passes and dominating teams too, Carrick defensive set up is totally flawed, yes thanks to him for a job well done but he can't be made permanent let us be realistic and stop being emotional, i am suppose to believe this football identity and structure will survive champions league night next season, if united is ready to compete again, they should better hire a well experience coach and back him up properly else we holding 6-0 at Allianz Arena Munich.

The high press becomes ineffective since we play such a low line. Brentford have both the space and numbers to easily play through our press. With that said, if Maguire is playing we always have to do that. What should Carrick do? I think that Heaven-Maz is a much better option than Heaven-Maguire in this sense — which clearly showed just a week ago against Chelsea — but Maguire created a goal and is a major asset on set pieces.

I still insist.. Why didn’t Bruno make the pass to Mbeumo instead?? He was very clear and would have scored as well. It would have been a big booster for him. Look how isolated Mbeumo has become lately. A shadow of himself! Mbeumo cannot end the season feeling this way please.

If you want to focus on what Mainoo can do on the ball, lots of fancy stuffs sure, but not even interested how he negatively impacts the team OOP then I have no words. Brentford have played through us with ease & should have scored 3. We need a 6 & athleticism.
