@statcenter Everyone acting like they needed every point of Kobes 81. Game was basically over when he was on 64 points and he took basically every shot to run up his score.

In Wilt's 100 game, Philly was letting NYK score quickly in the 4Q so they could get the ball back and feed the big man. Kobe took 13 of LA's 17 FGA - and all 13 of their FTA - in the 4Q to get to 81. No one's ever scored 70+ "ethically". What Bam did is insane and joyous.

Ja had the ball racing upcourt with over 3 seconds left. I think it’s defensible to prefer this scenario over a timeout, Ja could have potentially gotten to the rim in this amount of time
