No, the ancient Greeks really did categorise and perceive colours differently from us. It was not merely a matter of “describing them differently”. Homer uses χλωρός (chloros), the word that later gives us “green”, for fresh honey, young wood, pale faces sick with fear, and even blood in certain contexts. The same word covers a range of fresh, bright, or living qualities that do not map neatly onto our modern colour boundaries. They had no dedicated word for blue. Homer famously calls the sea οἶνοψ (oinops) aka wine-dark or wine-faced. This description puzzled translators and later readers precisely because it does not match to our fixed colour spectrum. Our language and our culture shapes what our mind notices, understands, and names.

@theWellRedMage I think the real question is why not? If it was remade lovingly and with respect to the original, what true fan wouldn't want that? Besides, the original will always be there.

@kojimaicmatters Doesnt even matter. If you want 30 microcosms of walkable cities within a normal city, you still need to be able to traverse it from 1 end to the other without getting mugged, raped or shot for all of them to be walkable. I dont even know what point this guy is trying to make.
