4 matches To kick off the @JnrMedway summer league. Debutants Mini Macklins earn a great draw against @cometsnetball, 6 players for Macklins Mix lose to Wasps but fought valiantly, U15s defeat Topaz and U16s play poorly but record a comfortable win against Opals. A decent start!

@ClaraNels In sporting terms it would be nice if Scotland had its own decent competition, after all they have their own NGB. But in real terms, it's no more difficult to travel to Glasgow than to Newcastle for the majority of franchises in the competition.

Disappointed to hear commentary say that teams might be ‘upset they have to travel to Glasgow’. Sirens travel furthest every season & have NEVER moaned. VNSL is a UK League so this is part of being in this comp. Look how Aus teams have to travel! Can we drop this one now please!
