In this 2015 interview, the host — a Tsinghua University professor — expressed genuine curiosity about how Elon Musk was able to found SpaceX without prior experience and knowledge in aerospace, especially given that rocket science is one of the most demanding hard sciences — and that Musk was serving as both CEO and CTO.
Musk explained that deep expertise can be built outside formal academic programs — by reading extensively, conducting experiments, and speaking directly with experts in the field.

What a disaster in the making.
Disney rumored to be offering to buy Epic Games.

Disney has considered buying out Epic Games and #Fortnite, a new report suggests 🐭 Reporter Alex Heath has said that executives at Disney are split on the idea. A buyout would require Tim Sweeney to "call it quits on being an independent company," which appears unlikely.

I agree.
I also see a parallel with being an entrepreneur vs being an employee. Most people opt for the relative comfort of being an employee, and find total self reliance too terrifying. Particularly when that’s all they’ve ever known. The comfort and security of even a relatively crappy situation can be quite compelling, versus uncertainty.
I think the mental process is similar.

I’ve been in Congress through divided governments, bitter fights, and historic crises. I’ve never seen anything like the last 24 hours.
Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson killed Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s bipartisan deal to fund the TSA, Coast Guard, and FEMA.
It was a deal that had the support of Senate Republicans and Democrats alike, 100-0!
Why?
Because Johnson places his own political survival and fealty to Trump over all else, including long waits at airports or anything else.
We could have passed it in the House easily if only Johnson had allowed the vote to proceed. But instead he blew up the whole thing.
Where this goes next is anyone’s guess, but what’s very clear is that Johnson is the worst and most subservient speaker in modern American history.

Let’s summarize where we are after a 40+ day Democrat shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security.
1) ICE and CBP are funded, thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts and the foresight of President Trump and Republicans in Congress.
2) After holding DHS and the American people hostage for over 40 days, Dems got ZERO restrictions that would prevent ICE and CBP agents from doing their jobs safely.
3) Due to Dem obstruction of the appropriations process, ICE and CBP will get even more funding through budget reconciliation.
4) Dems have once again established themselves as the “Open Borders, Defund the Police” party heading into an election.
5) Dem leadership has proven once again they can’t be trusted to make a deal.
Which begs the question if you’re a Dem senator or one of their left-wing supporters: What was this really all about?
