The affordable housing scheme is an absolute joke. Billions of dollars in taxpayers subsidies that’s meant to produce rentals that are 20% less than similar properties… What does the taxpayer receive in return? A rental that’s on a busier road than than comparable units but slightly nicer carpet

@Potstirrer111 The fact they have defects is irrelevant to the standards. Stuff like apartments having to have wired smoke alarms, elevators, accessibility. U can’t even buy an oven and stovetop as small as ur first pic new.
