The brothers face multiple charges, including rape and assault, according to the UK Crown Prosecution Service. The Tate brothers have reportedly been close to the Trump family. In 2024, Andrew Tate said: “I’m very close with the Trump family. I know them well. I spoke to Barron.” Last year, the Financial Times reported that Trump administration officials pressed Romanian authorities to lift travel restrictions on the Tate brothers.
