@carsales_guy I agree. I went from a 2024 Model X Plaid to a 2026 BMW IX Xdrive60 and the quality of vehicle is night and day from the Tesla to the BMW. Everybody is actually comfortable in the IX and I get 80 miles more range as well.

Out of all the luxury players BMW has played the EV game best IMO

Official EPA range for the iX3 is now listed on BMW’s website: 434 miles! With 400 kW charging, this thing is going to be a road trip monster.
English

@actuallyajoke @SawyerMerritt That I can agree with. My experience wasn't bad but the dealership I bought from was 3.5 hours away and would not transfer or trade to a local dealer for me. So I had to drive there and get it.
English

@Mad_Macs @SawyerMerritt It would be hard for me to go back to a BMW even though the iX is very nice, the dealerships are just icky the way they treat you

@GigaSomerset @SawyerMerritt @torquenewsauto I went from a Model X Plaid to the BMW IX Xdrive60 and was amazed at the quality of the ride in the BMW vs Tesla. I can see now why they killed off the X, it was crap compared to the competition.
English

@SawyerMerritt @torquenewsauto Many in the U.K. will buy this now the model X & S have gone. Is Tesla giving German car industry a life line ?
English

@actuallyajoke @SawyerMerritt It’s not just the range, but the quality of the vehicle. I went from a 2024 Model X Plaid to a 2026 BMW IX Xdrive60 and my ride has been upgraded significantly. I do miss the 1k horsepower and the software sometimes but in *every* other way the BMW is vastly superior.
English

@SawyerMerritt That’s awesome. Wish Tesla made a model y with that kind of range
English

@TheEricEkberg @SawyerMerritt @Tesla That’s stupid. The S and X weren’t updated for many years and were lagging behind on charging and battery technology. My X couldn’t make it 250 miles before needing to charge. I sold that donkey and got a BMW IX Xdrive 60 that gets 100 miles more range and is WAY more comfortable
English

@SawyerMerritt @Tesla Model S and X were cancelled for one reason only. Not enough people were buying the cars. That’s usually the reason products get cancelled.
English

Jason Cammisa on part of the reason why @Tesla is discontinuing the Model S/X (in his interpretation):
"The cost to reengineer the Model S to continue to comply with all safety and crash regulations would be greater than to start over, and I think that's a dying segment, the luxury car segment. You can look at the volumes of the Model 3/Y, and you see you're better off spending the money on developing those."

@bill_summitt @__C_M_R__ Try telling that to the restaurants that were told to prepare for more business that didnt get anything.
English

@Mad_Macs @__C_M_R__ That’s not a problem. Whe looking for a city that can accommodate a world class event, the priority is what can be handled within walking distance. And indianapolis absolutely knocked this out of the park
English

@bill_summitt @__C_M_R__ Indy absolutely had this problem during the Super Bowl. Everything within walking distance of the facilities was packed but nobody went anywhere farther away.
English

@__C_M_R__ Funny. Indy didnt have this problem hosting the NCAA. Restaurants sold out every night and didn’t have to beg for people to clean up the slop. Bottom line, if you’re going to host a grown up adult sports even… be an Indy not a Pittsburg

@TeslaXrp @FredLambert Your comment makes no sense. Typical Pro tesla bot.
English

@Mad_Macs @FredLambert Well if you just want a car good move if you want to make money bad choice
English

@Notch_EV @ChargePozitive I got rid of my 2024 Model X Plaid as I couldn’t make a 250 mile round trip without stopping to charge. Went with a BMW IX Xdrive60 that gets more than 360 miles of range and way more comfortable than my X ever was.
English

@ChargePozitive My model Y degradation was bad... My final opinion and reason for switching was, = Tesla is great for cool software, not so great for range and charging... I wanted more in those categories. I feel for you! it's an annoying feeling even though a splash and dash isn't a "big deal"
English

@MissJilianne I thoroughly enjoy the rattles and creaks my 2 year old X Plaid has.
English

@cybrtrkguy No. Because in 2 years it will rattle like crazy and be worth half what you paid for it. Only way I would buy it is it I sold it immediately to somebody with more money than sense. And yes, I own a Model X Plaid.
English

English

@dr__dwayne @LamarMK And 80 more miles of range will help. We drive from Indy to Cincinnati at least once a month and I can’t do it in my X without stopping to charge for 15 min.
English

@Joom01234567 @RumteenB @NevrEnoughX Yeah wife has the gas vehicle. I’ve been EV only with 3 Teslas for 6+ years now.
English

i had a z4 before, got stolen in san francisco then smell like an ash tray and all 4 busted rims when recovered. I let it go afterward. i might get the updated z4 if i want a bmw again. otherwise, i'd get a gas truck. For ev, i'd stay with tesla for the charging, just me. Need 1 ev and 1 gas car to be safe
English

@Joom01234567 @RumteenB @NevrEnoughX Oh interesting. I might go that route if I keep it longer than this week. I have an appointment to check out the 2026 xdrive60 fully optioned.
English

@Mad_Macs @RumteenB @NevrEnoughX they did that for me, twice, no charge. if not, i heard the noise from middle seat was due to a nut. you can try that direction
English

@Joom01234567 @RumteenB @NevrEnoughX I'm out and about today in my wife's car. They said they weren't replacing the entire interior when I sent in a maintenance appointment.
English

@Joom01234567 @RumteenB @NevrEnoughX They said it wasn't covered under any warranty. Even the loud rattling in the middle row passenger seat that is awful unless somebody is sitting in it.
