If you hate the trade, I get it. I really liked Caissie too. But at the same time, after watching the Cubs lose 2 games as a result of poor pitching, just remember that their pitching would be even worse if they didn’t make this trade.

Seriously, it’s refreshing to see the Nebraska spring game presented and treated with the proper context. Thanks to basketball and the early date, it’s not a BIG deal. It never should’ve been a BIG deal. This is what it used to be like. When Nebraska won.

After said basket, Nebraska went on a 5 minute and 9 second scoring drought and got outscored 15-6 for the rest of the game.

A season like this raises your floor as a program for the foreseeable future. Growing investment + HS & portal interest will never be higher.
It's an awful finish, BUT this season shows proof of concept that @HuskerMBB can & will be a consistent contender with this staff.
