We had our 22nd Annual Health Disparities Symposium on August 2 at @LLUHealth's, Centennial Complex. Our program featured poster presentations followed by an evening program with a plenary panel and a recognition ceremony for the participating students.

For decades Affirmative Action has increased the access of millions of qualified women and minorities to education and the biomedical workforce. The SCOTUS decision assumes that we live in a color blind society. This assertion is baseless, not supported by most current research.
