#TargetMalariaBurkinaFaso at @IrssDro is partnering with biotech startup @DipteraAI to modernize its laboratory processes. @DipteraAI’s machines are capable of automatically sorting mosquito larvae according to different characteristics. These new tools using and hashtag#machinelearning models enable great speed and accuracy. Being able to do sort the mosquitoes at the larval stage paves the way for much more efficient production. Previously, this tedious task was carried out manually by literally examining each adult mosquito under a microscope in a cold environment. @DipteraAI’s solutions will make our studies more efficient and advance our #malaria research. #Endmalaria #entomology
