Like @capitolwatch says, it doesn't take long to figure out that Stefanowski is lying. But that's not really his point. Like Trump, he wants to distract and divide the voters of Connecticut with dishonesty rather than engage in meaningful political discourse.

Just did a quick search of “Ned Lamont” and “defund the police.” The only stories I could find were the ones where he said he DOESN’T support defunding the police.
