Elon Musk deserves to have his limbs torn apart one by one and to have a bodybuilder snap his spine in half. He deserves his jaw to snap and his eyes to gouge.

@acgao_tech @Pirat_Nation He went the mr beast route making everything mega corporative, scripted and kinda souless. Cant blame him for making others do most of the work since he's probably tired of doing the same thing for +10 years, but its kinda unwatchable nowadays indeed, same as mr breast

Linus Tech Tips has bought a private jet valued at around 5 million dollars. It was previously owned by the UAE government and has gold-plated sinks and ashtrays. Linus calls it a zero-dollar plane because of the recent expensive engine work and full service inspection that returned it to like-new condition.

@FilippoTarpini Yeah the night sky looks so much colder and has much better saturation than normal HDR, I have an OLED monitor but HDR flat out looks like crap on it so I just use SDR

Fun thing: to this day, one of the biggest "sins" of HDR is the Red Dead Redemption 2 calibration menu literally giving you wrong instructions, making most players set it extremely dark (the logo would never disappear!), and leading them to think HDR looks bad. I believe this was ironically one of the major factors that caused a general negative perception of HDR in the public early on. No matter where you go, most RDR2 HDR comments will claim it looks like shit. However, if calibrated properly, it looks great (though it faulters under scrutiny when compared to SDR, as grading, shadow and saturation levels change a lot, @MusaRenoDX made a mod to fix!). I still believe Rockstar did a good job here for being one of the first games to support HDR. They probably had some miscommunication between the graphics and UI team.

Vanilla HDR vs RenoDX HDR. The mod here looks like SDR did, but with the range extended to HDR. As mentioned above, Color Grading LUTs weren't applied correctly in HDR, so the grading became weaker and shifted (e.g. if mid tones were tinted red in SDR, the red tint would apply to highlights in HDR). There was the usual black levels mismatch most HDR games presents. I honestly didn't mind the HDR look as it felt more natural, but they clearly weren't fully happy with it either because they had to label it "Game" mode as opposed to the Fake HDR mode they had since launch; called "Cinematic". The mod essentially takes the best of both.

Yeah, so pretty much @IntCyberDigest got wind of Adobe allegedly* being compromised by a Threat Actor operating under the moniker Mr. Racoon, by all accounts it appears this compromise is legitimate. However, I believe there are some caveats that need to be emphasized to avoid confusion. Adobe's internal networks were not compromised. Adobe had their helpdesk system compromised. Yes, both are Adobe, but a compromise to helpdesk support is different than a network compromise. Adobe, like many other large companies, intentionally segregates different business components. A network compromise could potentially impact the organization itself, proprietary source code, etc. A helpdesk compromise will likely unveil sensitive information on users. In simpler terms, anyone who submitted a helpdesk ticket to Adobe, or requested assistance in any capacity, could be impacted. However, the scope of impact is unknown at this time. It is being reported that 13,000,000 support tickets have been exfiltrated, but that could be anything from a simple question to something more consequential like billing questions. Furthermore, we don't know how far these support tickets to back. But 13 million is an astronomically large number. A closing thought on this is that this compromise was the result of a BPO employee (outsourced labor). This BPO employee (according to the Threat Actor) was infected with malware, they WERE NOT an Insider Threat. Once the BPO employee was compromised the Threat Actors pivoted by phishing a manager. More information is needed, Adobe will likely make a statement later (or not depending on what their legal team suggests). It has been a very dramatic week in cybersecurity
