Then buying out sporting products in order to obfuscate their actions, and make sure their name is associated with something positive.

I find it distasteful, almost unethical, to say this when you have 18 million subscribers. Hard to explain why, but with great reach comes great responsibility. Potentially killing someone else’s nascent project reeks of carelessness. First, do no harm.

@GerryCasts The biggest issue is in posting it, that is where they might actually hurt people by using that word. A team can have the most heinous calls, but if they're all ok with that then so be it. Doesn't mean they should post it for all to hear, since it is likely to be hurtful.

Hot take(?): If esports wants to be taken seriously by the rest of the world, stuff like this needs to be stamped out, not celebrated. Every major sport takes a vocal stance against discrimination. Having pro callouts in R6 that use slurs is shocking.
