@Benn_X1 Database Internals is difficult to read and understand, especially for those who do not understand DSA. Reading DDIA gave me an advantage, too. Thanks for recommending those books. It have better understanding of how those systems work now.

Read Database Internals by Alex Petrov. It’s a difficult read though. I think the first 9 chapters of Designing Data Intensive Applications will make it easier to understand Alex Petrov.

This is what a lot of people don’t understand. They are under the illusion that they’re one big family at work 😂 I don’t work on weekends; I don’t go over and beyond to increase shareholders' value; I however do my job to the best of my ability and I am always reminded that an employment contract with a 40hrs/week obligation is the basis for my 'professional' relationship with the company. My colleagues are not my friends either.
