@chara_betty The story is worse by the simple fact that they barely aknowledge what happened in BotW and fall back into the "travel back in time" bs that breaks continuity and is a paradoxical headache. Most of the rest of the game is better though.

Tears of the Kingdom is better than breath of the wild in every single way and people dislike it only because it didn't give them the same thrill Botw gave them, because it obviously builds on botw

@AlekMinassian_ @evileboxyboo @choehau_ara Steam is by definition not a monopoly because aside from their own titles, they're not prohibiting people from selling their games other places and they do have competition. People just tend to prefer Steam because it's simply a superior platform.

@evileboxyboo @choehau_ara Of course Steam is a monopoly. They take 1/3 of the revenue from games they didn't have to develop. Zero risk/investment. The 30% cut is a relict from an era when retail was physical, the 30% paid for packaging, warehouses, shipping, salesrooms. The competition is too fragmented

@MagDown_ Very much so, the game was originally an attempt at recreating tf|2 movement and slowly grew into its own thing before I joined the team
