@Dottysaccount @Prune602 Given the incoming administration’s handling of the last pandemic and the large number of people in the US who are rabidly anti-mask and anti-vaccines, what gives you confidence that it won’t be handled incredibly stupidly? So far it has a 50-60% mortality rate in humans.

@Michell56246709 @Prune602 Yes. It’s just animal to human so far, but it’s going to be human to human soon. It’s becoming more widespread and it has a fatality rate of 50-60% from what I’ve seen. It’s going to be bad unless they get a specific vaccine soon.

@RajaGili @Angry_Staffer Putin wants to reconstruct the Soviet Union. That isn’t happening without all of Ukraine. He may pause to rebuild his army but he will continue until he is beaten or he wins. Thinking that anything else will happen is delusional.

Good. I know they’re working on it, but we need to send absolutely everything possible to Ukraine before the inauguration. We also need to let Ukraine attack whatever targets they need to in order to win.

@RajaGili @Angry_Staffer The only way the war ends is if Russia gives up the land in Ukraine that it has forcibly taken either by force or willingly. Any other pause in the fighting is just a cease fire until Russia restarts the war.
