DingDong was my favorite guy on the channel but he never should have been audience-facing & stayed a behind-the-scenes programmer. It really sucks because I liked the game he made recently but his & Julian's lives must be a mess.

There's this very interesting sociological trend I've noticed where if two people stop hanging out and one has like a 1% less edgy sense of humor, they'll do a complete 180 and act like they were just completely not cool with edgy humor the whole time

DD’s pattern of reading malice into everything is exhausting at this point. It feels like residual trauma mixed with genuine emotional instability, and it keeps hurting the remaining friendships he has. Permanent offline would probably be the kindest outcome for him and everyone else, though I’m not holding my breath. Sad to see, we’re almost a decade on now. At a certain point you have to heal or shut up.

@AppleSalt20m @Onipensai The first panel is just randomness, charming in its own way. The last two move the eyes by 2 centimeters and ends staring at the reader. The audience loves to feel included; any form of criticism is now directed at the reader, making it feel like a personal insult. It's not.

@PlankReturns The Odyssey is entertaining when you ignore the people whining that it's not a good adaptation, acting like it's an abomination because it didn't include the cyclops Looney Tunes Nobody trick

The Odyssey was good. Hard for me to enjoy a movie a lot if I know the plot, and I think Nolan thrives more on original twists and suspense (DKR, Inception, Prestige). Also hard to tell a disjointed story that’s more like five stories strung into one. Good but not great IMO. Ignore the culture war BS. I enjoyed watching it, but I also won’t watch it multiple times in theaters as I did with previous Nolan titles.
