@MrsEmmaWebber I lost my son almost 9 years ago, he was 19. Doesn’t feel like it’s been that long, I miss him everyday and look forward to when I will see him again. No mom should have to go through this, I am thinking of you.

Four years ago this week. Four years - our last family holiday. 11 months later our world shattered forever. 💔 I write this post from almost the same location, but in so much pain. It’s limitless and infinite. It hurts to be here. In fact, it hurts to be anywhere. Today I really miss my boy. But for Charlie, and for Dave and my family and friends who I know love and need me. I’ll stick around. I hope the relevant staff at @NHSNotts see these images of Barney. This is what your failure did. Have the decency to act with candour in the corporate manslaughter investigation. Do the right thing. Finally. 🙏

@OrevaZSN Yes, I was only there for about 6 weeks, boss was a pig, would call me his mistress to clients, there was a bathroom right near my desk that he would use to crap in.. went in one day, quit on the spot and demanded my last paycheck and that was it

Has anybody here ever just walked out of a job like, “I’ve had enough,” and never showed up again? No resignation, no two weeks’ notice. You just hit your limit, walked out, and decided that was your last day.

NEW: The View’s Sunny Hostin seen using her privilege to try to get her son out of trouble for trespassing, tells police she is a “former federal prosecutor.” “My name is Sunny Hostin… and I’m a former federal prosecutor,” Hostin said while telling police her son went to Harvard. The host used her elitist privilege to try to get her son out of trouble after he was busted trespassing along Metro-North Railroad tracks in Westchester County. “That’s my son. He’s a Harvard graduate, he doesn’t have a criminal record.” 24-year-old Gabriel Hostin claims he was jogging when he saw that the gate near the tracks was open. He was hit with a trespass violation for what can be an arrestable offense, according to the New York Post. Hostin has been known to shame others for their “white privilege.” Remarkable.

@StephenFleming I think it may also have to do with the fact that parents are around more and can drive them, my parents worked full time so if I needed to go somewhere I had to drive myself or find a ride.

Yet another friend with a child turning 16 next week. Hasn’t gotten a learner’s permit. Zero interest in a driver’s license. I keep hearing this same story. What’s WRONG with these kids?!?! On my 16th birthday, my mom took me out of school to take my driving test. Same for everyone I knew. Even if you couldn’t afford your own car, you could beg the use of the family station wagon occasionally. Freedom. Independence. Heck, privacy on a date! Are these kids giving all that up for scrolling TikTok and an occasional Uber?

🚨 I’m a Black man, a proud conservative, and a follower of Jesus Christ. When I see protesters outside the Collin County Courthouse chanting “FUCK WHITE LIVES!” after Karmelo Anthony’s sentencing for murdering Austin Metcalf, my soul grieves. This isn’t justice. This isn’t “community.” This is demonic hatred — plain and simple. All lives are made in the image of God. Every single one. Black, White, Brown — doesn’t matter. Celebrating the loss of any innocent life, or cheering on evil because of skin color, is straight from the pit of hell. And here’s the truth they don’t want you to say out loud: When Black conservatives, Christians, or truth-tellers like me call this out, we get labeled “traitors,” “Uncle Toms,” or “betrayers of the community.” Let them talk. I’d rather be disliked by some in my own community than stand before a Holy God and be found guilty of excusing evil, hating my neighbor, or twisting justice for racial points. My allegiance is to Christ first — not color, not tribe, not political pressure. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil…” (Isaiah 5:20) I choose truth over tribe. Light over darkness. God over man. Who else is tired of the hate? Drop a 🙏 if you stand for real justice — not skin color. #AllLivesMatterToGod #FaithOverFear #TruthOverTribe

@iky_fwjett Times have certainly changed, I got married many moons ago and we did have an engagement party but my in-laws threw it, not my bridesmaids. I let them pick out their own dresses, just told them what color, I wanted them to only spend what they could.

NEW: 19-year-old sentenced to 44 months in prison after causing a crash in Minnesota that killed an 11-year-old girl in an SUV with a family of six Connor Iversen, 19, pleaded guilty to criminal vehicular homicide for a February 26, 2025 crash “I took this prison sentence to prevent any more pain on the family, or any more court dates or a trial that would have caused any more pain, as well as owning up to what happened,” Iversen said in a brief address to the court Investigators say he was speeding, ran a stop sign, and was using his phone when he crashed into an SUV carrying a family He was sentenced to 44 months in prison, with credit for time already served Records show he also had prior legal issues, including a high-speed police chase, a separate stabbing incident investigation, and earlier driving-related convictions

Gary, NOBODY can truly say that they know your pain. I know this to be true because I also lost a child but to an auto accident. Eventually, I found the truth at the end of my journey was not an answer to why but rather faith in God’s will. My prayers to you and your family my friend.

Hey folks, today I’d like to take a moment to share something deeply personal with you. Over the past few years, my family has walked through a season of profound love and loss. My son Mac was a remarkable young man, full of talent, heart, and purpose. An incredible musician and composer, in 2018 Mac was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer and our family entered a journey that none of us could have prepared for. A little over two years ago I went to work writing my second book, sharing his story, as well as challenges and blessings our family experienced along the way, the love that held us together, the faith that sustained us, the grief that changed us, and how we continue to move forward daily with a strength we didn’t know we had. And now Thomas Nelson and @People Magazine begin the next part of this journey. This book is for Mac. It’s also for anyone who has faced loss, uncertainty, or hardship, and is searching for a line of hope in the middle of it. Something I feel I needed to do to help with my own healing. I’m thankful to People for sharing the launch of our presale today. Graceful Warrior: The True Story of a Son, a Father, and a Family Who Carried Each Other Through is now available for preorder and will officially be released on Mac’s birthday, Nov 10th. Thank you for your consideration. Read the full People article: bit.ly/4ms63wi Preorder today: bit.ly/4ekoVLk
