Why are we making these comparisons? In cases of patriarchy, dowry deaths, or violence against women, Ketan had no role or fault. So why are people mocking him after his death? By all accounts, he was a simple young man who was brutally killed, and even after that, people continue to make jokes and insensitive comments. The accused herself has reportedly admitted that her boyfriend was present at the location when Ketan was killed, similar to what happened in the Raja Raghuvanshi case. If that is true, then shouldn’t the focus be on ensuring justice is served? I understand that women have suffered a lot and continue to face serious issues.
