Attitudinal Barriers are pervasive negative perceptions and value systems that focus on a person's disability rather than their ability and other valued characteristics. Our communities still hold back by these barriers in the 21st century. #inclusivity is the key#

Today is my son's 17th birthday.❤ Sadly isn't a happy one.😞 He's been seriously ill for a year+ and is not getting any better. He has severe #cerebralpalsy & coz of that, his immune system may be shutting down. It is to be expected, but it still hurts like hell. #ZanupfMustGo

Just wondering if disability inclusion is mandatory or voluntary. Not seeing much commitment on inclusion, which is why we feel there is need for setting strict standards on inclusion e.g school, college, pre-school, employers mst hve say 30% of pupils or workers with disabilities

In times like these being blessed with a child with disabilities is a challenge especially when there is no financial support.Inclusively is done theoretically.. It seems no body cares.

@GwiziSoneni True but they are some who can not be heard because they communicate in a unique way.Their rights are violated day in day out.Everyone must be respected

@MaiBar9 @NkomwaTrust Parents of children with #disabilities are their best advocates and need a platform through which they can make known the issues that impact their children's lives. They too as parents also require certain support services.

Children living with severe disabilities live in a closed environment... They can't use any language to be heard..Those who claim to be their voices mostly are not living with disabilities neither do they have children living with disabilities.Their parents are stigmatized.

Those who claim to advocate for their rights do not want to not want deal with large numbers. Its strange! When they get donations they gather the same people year in year out.Is it about children living with disabilities or personal gain?
