On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we light a candle in memory of the six million Jews brutally murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators.
During my tenure, I had the privilege of meeting and speaking with many Holocaust survivors, in a community that is the largest per capita outside Israel.
Recent waves of antisemitic hate, both here and in Israel, remind us that hatred is not just history, emphasizing that the promise of “Never Again” is one we must honor now, more than ever.
