I’m not sure if we’ve become desensitised or what but there are high res models showing 35-36C on Tuesday. “It’s just summer” apparently in final spring month. The much touted 1976 summer never got hotter than 35.9C in early July. We are in May….

@wight1984 @thetimes Maybe a lot of the negativity comes from the expectation that weight loss equates to going back in time to when the person was thinner. Of course it's not. They would have looked 'gaunter' had they aged and never put on weight. Not a bad thing though.

@thetimes This isn't an uncommon complaint: lots of people who lose 'too much weight' often feel like they look a bit gaunt.
