@ChefMMiami @HaileyLennonBTC Exactly. These new age bitcoiners are ok selling out to elitist, banksters, and gov. So much for the people's money when they end up owning most of the supply.

In my opinion, the strategic reserve should be Bitcoin only. A strategic reserve should not have any cryptocurrencies in it that have a centralized group/entity that promotes it and profits off it as a result of that promotion.

@X_Wallets @HaileyLennonBTC It would go bust in a few years. It is impossible to have price stability and monetary history proves this with fixed assets as money. People end up manipulating the limited supply because the liquidity dries up.

@CapitalSatoshi @americanhodl8 @saylor 2010, Bitcoin is anti bankster, elitist and gov. 2024, we welcome the banksters, elitist, and gov to Bitcoin. Sold out very principles to Greed. It is not going to end well. History repeating.

@divinethree333 @17ThankQ In your last statement. There were several absolutes. For example, saying "nobody knows" is an absolute statement.

@MajorDogBarker @17ThankQ Lol, that was funny. I bet if I read through it I would see them as well but Im on the run. In my mind I don’t think absolutely about any of it because I can’t say for sure. I can only see the fundamentals that are building around the XRPL.

@MajorDogBarker @17ThankQ In this ever evolving digital age I believe it’s unwise to speak in absolutes because nobody knows how this all will go down. IMO, I don’t see this being a one ring to rule them all scenario.

Bitcoin and ETH didn’t grow overnight with the liquidity they have and it’s the same with the XRPL. Adoption will produce liquidity and as the XRPL continues to upgrade the liquidity will grow and it will attract institutional investors. I believe institutional adoption for the XRPL will begin in Japan as almost every bank is working with Ripple. These banks are following a national agenda to integrate distributed ledger technology. This is the direction of the major Banks in Japan as their financial sector has been undergoing a major transformative shift. I believe RLUSD will play a major role in this integration. XRP was designed to consolidate global liquidity and as adoption increases so will the liquidity. The name of the game is utility and liquidity. XRP wasn’t built for retail—it was designed for banks, institutions, and governments to solve a multi trillion-dollar problem in global finance. For retail, Im not sure what the hurry to sell would be anyhow for as utility and liquidity builds the ways to use XRP will grow for XRPL already has over 2500 use cases. In regard to the national debt Trump making XRP as a strategic reserve would involve the government holding a significant amount of XRP as a reserve asset like the escrow. That scenario would bolster the U.S. balance sheet as a hedge against economic instability. The benefits of a strategic XRP reserve include low downside investment, a hedge against dollar devaluation. No one truly knows if Trump is going to do this but the idea is definitely being discussed and the more I ponder it the more I think he may use a basket of digital assets.

🇺🇸 I wonder if the Fed realizes how fortunate they are to have Trump as a scapegoat. They can do what they want with rates and blame him for economic instability, all while knowing his policies and rhetoric will attract public attention and criticism. Successful central banks always need a boogeyman to divert public outrage.
Joe Carlasare@JoeCarlasare

I wonder if the President realizes how fortunate he is to have Jay Powell as a scapegoat. He can pound the table and blame him for high rates, all while knowing Powell isn’t going to cut rates rapidly because he believes they are only slightly above the neutral rate. Successful politicians always need a boogeyman to channel public outrage.

@SimonDixonTwitt I used to believe in the Bill Still debt free money concept, but I think Karl Denninger's 1 Dollar of Capital model makes more sense. Bitcoin limited supply becomes a major issue for stability. As less is available for trade, it becomes easier to manipulate.

The key distinction with a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) lies in how money is created. Currently, digital dollars are created by banks every time they issue a loan, allowing banks to capture the profits from money creation. This system requires significant taxation to support bank profits, while also imposing a hidden inflation tax on the global economy. A CBDC shifts the power and profit of money creation to the central bank. If we’re going to centralize this power, we might as well hand it directly to the Treasury. Doing so could eliminate the need for income taxes, enabling governments to combat inflation while encouraging individuals to invest in #Bitcoin as a hedge against monetary overreach. It’s a big difference and presidents were assassinated over it including Garfield, Jackson, JFK and attempts on Lincoln amongst others.

@17ThankQ XRP Escrow: 50B XRP x $700 XRP = $35T If XRP becomes a strategic reserve currency and the price blows up to $1000 now the escrow is worth $50T. Far more than enough to wipe out the national debt.

@B21Fork @divinethree333 @17ThankQ The scary part is, many of them actually think that will happen and can work. I hope a nation decides to go full on using a crypto as money so folks will see how it will cause instability & hyper deflation just as all fixed assets have done over and over in monetary history.

@HaileyLennonBTC Freedom money when it will be fractional pushed as paper IOUs? When governments, banksters, elistists are buying it up? It is no longer about freedom, it turned into greed. Saylor wants to make 97% of the world that owns no BTC suffer hyperinflation in order to pump his bags.

Palley makes a good point but banks supporting bitcoin will increase adoption and safeguards and pave the way for lending, etc. I guess Satoshi was right when he said "It might make sense just to get some in case it catches on.”

Part of Trump's crypto strategic reserve executive order calls for a "basket" of crypto reserve assets. This shouldn't be an opportunity to fill it with shitcoins that have bought good will. If Trump is getting HONEST crypto advice, a crypto "basket" should be one asset, Bitcoin.
