Want to know how desperate is the (fractured!) Iranian regime?
A 30-year-old Iranian supertanker called NASHA, rusting in a yard for years, was dragged out of retirement, towing her to the nearest oil terminal so slowly that one day voyage is taking four days.
The reason is Kharg Island, where ninety percent of Iran's oil leaves the country, has run out of storage.
There is nowhere left to put the crude. The barrels that used to go to China cannot go anywhere, because of the US' blockade. So the regime is using a 1996 ghost ship as a very slow, very rusty floating warehouse.
The government that spent a decade bragging about its Axis of Resistance and its proxies in Lebanon and Yemen and Iraq is today begging a Soviet-era supertanker to please hold oil for a while.
The mainstream media spent the week debating whether the ceasefire will hold, and it will.
Why? because the regime cannot afford for it to break. Treasury says Iran is losing five hundred million dollars a day. That's why the Iranian president was begging to sit down for negotiations again tomorrow Saturday.
The tanker is your clue. Not the spitting threats, not the hostage posts, not the parade, but a rusting ghost ship from 1996 being towed, very slowly, toward a harbor that cannot hold any more oil.
That is what a cornered regime looks like...

Today my brother teacher @EnochBurke went before a disciplinary appeal panel. He was suspended from his job and jailed after refusing to accept transgenderism. What took place today was shocking. ➡️ By law the panel is to be an “informal hearing”. ➡️ When he arrived he was confronted by a top Employment Barrister as well as a Solicitor from a major Dublin law firm. ➡️The lawyers were acting for the school. ➡️ The presence of lawyers at such an appeal is contrary to law and to Department of Education procedures for dealing with appeals. ➡️ Enoch objected to the presence of these lawyers. ➡️ The Chair of the Disciplinary Appeals Panel, Claire Callanan said to Mr Burke: “We may be wrong and you may be right but we are going ahead nonetheless.” ➡️ When Enoch continued to object, he was removed by prison guards. ➡️ When members of his family who were present objected, they were removed by police. ➡️ Enoch Burke was taken back in a prison van to Castlerea prison. This is an utterly appalling and unbelievable travesty of justice.

If you think that Trump's DOJ is just bringing back firing squads for no real reason, you're wrong.
Of course, there's an endless debate to be had over different methods of unaliving the guilty and/or the morality of doing so...but that's not what this is about.
This is all about delivering a message.
There are certain crimes for which the only appropriate level of justice demands this type of definitive public closure, primal as it may be.
Truth is, he's bringing firing squads back because all the right people who needed to get the message they've long dreaded hearing, just got it. And I can assure you that they got it loud and clear.
