There is no religion that instructs a woman to expose her body. But today, because many people no longer live according to religion, a girl who covers herself is mocked, insulted, and looked at as if she has done something wrong in society. She was even prevented from writing an exam simply because she was wearing a hijab. What crime did she commit? Has covering the body now become a sin? Has modesty become a mistake? The hijab does not prevent a girl from learning. The hijab does not prevent intelligence. The hijab does not prevent success. A girl can wear her hijab and still become a doctor, lawyer, teacher, or anything she aspires to be. The problem is when people begin to reject religion to the point that they see a modest girl as something negative. Nigeria belongs to everyone. No girl should be denied education because of her religion. May God protect our daughters, strengthen our faith, and help us stand firmly for what is right. Ameen 🙏🏼
