Politicians lie because it works. Many Americans don’t follow politics closely, making them vulnerable to manipulation. One solution? A smaller, informed voting body that tracks campaign promises, verifies facts, and holds leaders accountable. Decisions affecting millions deserve truth and integrity—not propaganda and deceit. It’s time to rethink how we ensure honesty in our democracy. #TheUneducatedAcademics

The generally uninterested and uninformed 150 million who vote for the representatives are the problem. The general public doesn't like the government, it shouldn't be their job to pick who runs the government. It's a recipe for disaster. We need a smaller, more manageable body to take the place of all of the voting the masses currently does.

America’s democracy empowers the masses, but it also exposes a flaw: uninformed voters swayed by propaganda. Our govt has grown bloated & detached, failing the vision of our founding fathers. It’s time to scrutinize every part of the system, demand accountability, and ensure only informed voices shape our nation’s future. Smarter voters, leaner systems, and relentless oversight are the path forward. #TheUneducatedAcademics

Frank Luntz symbolizes the failure of today's political operatives. There's no real debate today—just echo chambers. Operatives ignore critiques from both their base and opposition, leaving them unprepared to serve the people. This disconnect is why they’re shocked by elections like Trump’s wins. Legacy media fades as Podcast Bros rise. Our system is broken, and it’s time for change. #TheUneducatedAcademics

Dismissing serious arguments, like Krystal Ball does on Breaking Points, is dangerous. The Biden Admin admits to flying illegal immigrants into small towns, fast-tracking them to citizenship, and removing voter ID requirements. This risks tipping the political balance permanently in favor of Democrats, threatening democracy itself. Ignoring this or mocking it isn’t critical thinking—it’s bias. We must examine such claims and ourselves with honesty to uphold true accountability. #TheUneducatedAcademics

Emma Vigeland says Trump’s 2024 win was rooted in misogyny. But is it? Misogyny = “hatred/prejudice against women.” Criticizing female rivals ≠ hating women. Look at Trump’s life: Melania holds opposing views (e.g., pro-choice), Ivanka was a senior WH advisor. Misogynists don’t elevate or respect women like this. Compare this to Saudi Arabia: women need male permission to drive, travel, or open a bank account. THAT’S misogyny. Misusing the term for political jabs weakens its meaning and distracts from real issues women face. Let's focus on real progress, not exaggeration. #TheUneducatedAcademics

Probably less than half of the available jobs were filled since people are still hiring after everyone is looking for work. There's virtually no end the amount of work that exists or can be created quickly with a new business - which happens every day. I don't think a massive labor shortage was happening when women entered the workforce, though. I think the economy just pertually responds to the environment it exists in. When they had only men, companies ran with that because that's what they had. When women entered the workforce, they adapted. More work to be done can always be found within a company when you know someone is looking for work. A big problem, though, is a lot of companies fail to put their new employees to work in profitable ways. The more people you hire, the more difficult this is to do. So, while companies might've adapted by finding work for women, a lot of them ended up making their product more costly to produce as a result and subsequently raised their prices to handle that. I think another factor is, with the whole "eat the rich" movement, it's become less respected, less of a coveted goal for young people to become one of these business owners who supply jobs and goods to society. When people have to go to the same companies for work, and supply is struggling to grow along with growing demand, this naturally raises the prices of goods.
