@HouSports281 @finnation I’m convinced this dude you are talking to is 14. I really don’t think he comprehends that you CAN NOT win in MLB with the worst pitching in the league. Sure, fire everyone. Like it matters when you are starting guys who were in Korea and playing independent baseball a year ago

@michaelbeck @astros Yeah probably Diaz fault that the Astros are leading the league in being the worst pitching staff in all of baseball.

When Vazquez is the starting catcher the @Astros have been 4-2 (two games over .500) When Diaz is catching, the Astros have been 3-9. (Six games under .500.) Just a coincidence I am sure.

Astros reeling and they’ve gotten little to no quality starts, or even guys going 5 innings. Their only veteran pitcher with a proven track record on the mound in Lance McCullers Jr. And he’s already at 53 pitches through 2 innings after 2 HBPs and 3 walks 🤮

@llanesluna @Astros_Coverage But yet the post this is referring to is talking specifically about framing and CS rates. Both are irrelevant with the ability to challenge pitches and the inability of Astros pitchers to hold anyone on. But agree, he needs to hit better.

@Cosmic_Andrew1 @wingoz Do you really watch golf to think their players couldn’t make the cut? I don’t care about LIv but this is honestly one of the dumbest comments I’ve read on this topic

@wingoz “not a reflection of commercial performance” Like 12 people watch their tournaments and they are paying ludicrous sums to people who couldn’t make a cut on the PGA You can be funded but doesn’t mean your a commercial success, just someone is stupid enough to fund it

BREAKING: Sources indicate LIV is preparing to wind down operations as the Public Investment Fund (PIF) reassesses its broader strategy amid ongoing conflict in the Middle East. A recent board meeting in New York focused on the league’s near-term future, including whether to cease operations following this week’s event in Mexico City or continue through the end of the season. Importantly, this is not a reflection of LIV’s commercial performance. The league was fully funded through 2030 — this is a top-down strategic shift driven by evolving geopolitical priorities. MBS pulled the plug.

@Mark_Testoni @wingoz LIV was completely unnecessary because absolutely no one was whining or complaining about any of those things. But some people just don't have morals or a conscience.

@astrosworld34 @brianmctaggart Yeah, it’s probably Josh Millers fault since they all suck. Not the fact that half these guys wouldn’t be on any other roster but go on.

@TheNickLow @astros You really think it’s the pitching coach when this team could pitch last year? Maybe it’s lack of talent

@koltes88394 @spacecity_281 @Chandler_Rome Yeah that’s great and all but if you just use the social media approach of “don’t put that guy in” you fail to realize all the other arms can’t be used every game.

The Astros lost 8-7. They are 6-9. Houston squandered a 7-2 lead to run its losing streak to six games. Bryan Abreu walked the bases loaded in the ninth inning before allowing a walk-off hit to J.P. Crawford.

@Chandler_Rome Please ask Espada why he keeps sending Abreu out in the 9th when he’s been struggling all year long. A 7-year-old knows this and wouldn’t do it, but Espada keeps insisting.

I understand, the @Astros have had some really bad luck with their ace, and their closer out with injuries. But look at the other starters and the rest of the bullpen. What the hell has Dana Brown given us? This is a bad pitching staff.

@JeremyIKaufman Hahah the Astros could average 12 runs a game and still not sniff the playoffs. This is a single A pitching staff at best.

@Chandler_Rome @Readyandwill It’s wild to me that someone who has been around baseball as long as you can actually say throwing more than 37 pitches in one inning is putting his health in danger
