सोशल मीडिया पर फैलाई जाने वाली जानकारी आधी - अधूरी है। मीरा भायंदर का ये फ्लाईओवर 2+2 फ्लाईओवर ही है। सोशल मीडिया में वायरल हो रहा ये हिस्सा अभी निर्माणाधीन है। जहां आप 2 लेन का हिस्सा देख रहे हैं वह हिस्सा थोड़ी दूरी पर जाकर भायंदर (ईस्ट) की तरफ उतरने वाला हिस्सा है। जहां आप दो चौकोर हिस्से देख रहे हैं वहां से फ्लाईओवर के बाहरी हिस्से से 1+1 लेन आगे की तरफ जाएंगे जिन के लिए नियोजन पहले से ही किया गया है, इसलिए आप वहां एंटी - क्रैश बैरिकेड्स देखेंगे। इस फ्लाईओवर के बारे में विस्तार से थोड़ा बताएं तो गोल्डन नेस्ट सर्कल तक, जहाँ पाँच प्रमुख सड़कें मिलती हैं और यातायात का दबाव सबसे अधिक रहता है, वहाँ मेट्रो के साथ एकीकृत 2+2 लेन का फ्लाईओवर तथा दोनों ओर स्लिप रोड्स प्रदान की गई हैं, ताकि यातायात का प्रभावी रूप से वितरण हो सके। गोल्डन नेस्ट सर्कल के आगे, भायंदर पूर्व की ओर, मौजूदा विकास और रेलवे कॉरिडोर के कारण उपलब्ध राइट ऑफ वे कम हो जाता है। इसी के अनुरूप, यहां 1+1 लेन का फ्लाईओवर तथा अलग-अलग अप और डाउन रैम्प बनाए गए हैं, जिससे रेलवे फाटक रोड की ओर निर्बाध यातायात सुनिश्चित हो सके। यह डिज़ाइन मीरा–भायंदर क्षेत्र के सबसे व्यस्त जंक्शनों में से एक पर सुचारु यातायात सुनिश्चित करता है, साथ ही जमीनी सीमाओं को भी ध्यान में रखता है। भविष्य में पश्चिमी रेलवे लाइन के ऊपर से भायंदर पश्चिम (RoB) तक फ्लाईओवर को चौड़ा करने और विस्तार करने का प्रावधान पहले से किया गया है, ताकि पूर्व–पश्चिम यातायात की निरंतरता बेहतर हो सके। इसके अंतर्गत कैरिजवे के दोनों ओर अतिरिक्त 1+1 लेन का विस्तार प्रस्तावित है। यह प्रस्ताव वर्तमान में योजना चरण में है और सक्षम प्राधिकरणों से आवश्यक अनुमतियाँ प्राप्त करने के बाद एमबीएमसी के समन्वय से आगे बढ़ाया जाएगा। वर्तमान में, यह फ्लाईओवर मुख्य रूप से मीरा–भायंदर क्षेत्र में यातायात के वितरण और जाम में कमी लाने के उद्देश्य से डिज़ाइन किया गया है। सभी आवश्यक सुरक्षा उपाय शामिल किए गए हैं, जिनमें रंबल स्ट्रिप्स, डिलिनेटर्स, पर्याप्त साइनज, रेट्रो-रिफ्लेक्टिव टैग, दिशासूचक बोर्ड और एंटी-क्रैश बैरियर्स शामिल हैं। फ्लाईओवर को सार्वजनिक उपयोग के लिए खोलने से पहले, अतिरिक्त वाहन सुरक्षा उपायों के लिए यातायात पुलिस से सक्रिय रूप से मार्गदर्शन लिया जा रहा है। @Dev_Fadnavis @mieknathshinde @DrSanMukherjee
