2A Hoops: MALC vs St John Paul II: HMMM Very Interesting Situation at the MALC vs St John Paul II Game: They played JV girls, JV boys, varsity girls and at some point during it the varsity boys just left. The boys game never took place??? Any people know what went on??

@AZSPORTSNETWORK The forfeit keeps us the same on power points. Instead of carrying our winning streak. There is no punishment that will affect there program. Only ours this year. We are a consistent program and for us to get the penalty is not ok!

@AZSPORTSNETWORK Second problem We have the opportunity to be a 8 seed from 10, it could be how it could shake out. Big difference playing on our home court!!! Now can’t get higher than 9, we are .3 behind San Carlos. It penalizes US!

@AZSPORTSNETWORK They left before our game even started. We hear it all the time the last four years going to 2A. Phoenix schools complain it’s to far away. Yeah we know! First problem It was senior night for 2 of our kids! Won’t get that night back.

@AZSPORTSNETWORK SHAME ON ST. JOHN PAUL COACH!!!!!All that is probably true. But them showing up a half hour late I believe was the bigger problem. I believe it had nothing to do with the JV game or safety. 3-14 and playing for nothing and potentially getting home late was the issue.

My first fall season with @AZRisingAppel . 34-9-2 record, hit .473 w/31rbi. It’s been a great journey. Love my teammates and Coaches. Got to play in 2 college stadiums, Played against the best pitchers and played with and against some of the top players in the country. Good learning curve. Great fall season!
