@baseballifer11 I played travel ball since I was 8. I reached out to over 50 coaches at all levels. The one coach that did spend more than 1 visit with me and txted me all the time just to see how I was doing I committed to. I am proud to be a D3 baseball player next fall with great academics!!

Had a parent of a 2023 athlete call me today " You mean I paid for my son to play travel baseball all these years and there is not one school that wants to offer him a scholarship?" " No NCAA D3 has even offered" This is a tough time of year for many families and athletes!

Youth travel baseball in New England, Parents U need to understand this, IF a team has a $ 200 tryout fee and they hold tryouts several times over an 8 week time period, that should tell U, THEY ARE MAKING $$$! There is NOTHING SELECT - ELITE about 8-9-10-11 - 12 yr old baseball!

Don’t be a Coach that would rather “Be Cool “ with their players than “ Be Clear “ with their players. Your job is to tell them the truth , give them solutions and make them better! If you do that , you’ll get the Respect that’s far more important.
