NDC the supposed party that is for Nigerians is selling presidential form for sixty million naira; That's N60m for a party that is considered for everyday people. So you expect a candidate who pays N60m for just nomination form (minus campaigns), and will earn just N 1.5m as a sitting president to be credible. Be serious.

@DanielRegha Daniel. This moneys are put into campaigning also. There are 36 states + FCT. Funds are needed to mobilize party structures in each state for a proper campaign. Let’s be honest, N60 million is a drop in the ocean.

🚨 OFFICIAL: Fede Valverde statement. “Yesterday I had an incident with a teammate during a training session. The fatigue from competition and the frustration made everything seem blown out of proportion”. “In a normal locker room, these things can happen and are usually resolved internally without it becoming all public”. “Clearly, someone here is spreading rumors, and with a season without titles, where Real Madrid is always under scrutiny, everything gets blown out of proportion”. “Today we had another disagreement. During the argument, I accidentally hit a table, causing a small cut on my forehead that required a routine visit to the hospital”. “At no point did my teammate hit me, I didn’t hit him either”. “I feel that my anger about the situation, frustration at seeing some of us struggling to get through end of season, giving it our all, pushed me to the point of arguing with a teammate”. “I’m sorry. I’m truly sorry because this situation hurts me, this moment we’re going through is painful”. “Real Madrid is one of the most important things in my life and I can’t be indifferent to it. The result is accumulation of things that culminate in a senseless fight, damaging my image and leaving room for doubt that they will add fuel to the fire of an accident”. “I wasn’t going to speak out until the end of the season. We were eliminated from the Champions League, and I kept my anger and resentment to myself”. “We’ve wasted another year, and I wasn’t in a position to be posting on social media when the only face I had to show was on the field, and I feel that’s what I did. That’s why I’m the one who’s most saddened and pained to be going through this situation that prevents me from playing the next match due to medical decisions”. “I always gave it my all, to the very end, and it hurts me more than anyone not to be able to do so. I am available to the club and my teammates to collaborate on any decision they deem necessary. Thank you”.

Do you see why every single Nigerian who wish this nation well must rise and fight bad leadership and this government that is trying to silent us all. Under Tinubu's government you dare not condemn or speak up against government failures, it's you are kidnapped and killed or you are arrested or disappear into the thin air. Even the said Dictator Sani Abacha was not this cruel to Nigerians as a military leader. If we don't rise up and fight this government, and restore our democracy, we will suffer the more. Remember, both the US and the UK government are benefiting from the corruption happening here in Nigeria. They are the ones engineering everything because it serves their agenda. It's up to us the citizens to rise up and take back our country or remain slaves in it forever. Even the elites are not spared, it's only a matter of time.

PUBLIC NOTICE WARNING AGAINST ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS. The Office of the Director General Security Matters is not unaware of the current tension in parts of the State following the unfortunate incident involving the death of Mr Oghenemine Ogidi in Effurun. We acknowledge the pain and concerns of citizens, and investigations into the matter are in full swing to ensure justice is served. 2.However, it has become necessary to address a disturbing trend arising from this incident. During a recent routine patrol by officers of Operation Delta Sweep, an individual accosted by them became unruly, questioned the lawful stop, and physically assaulted an officer by grabbing and dragging the officer's uniform. Contrary to what was being circulated, the officer involved is a member of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on official duty, not a Police Officer. 3.The State Government and all security agencies strongly condemn this act. While we understand public anger over the Oghenemine Ogidi’s incident, it must be emphasised that no citizen is permitted to take the law into their own hands, insult, or assault officers discharging their lawful duties. 4. In view of the above, we therefore warn the general public as follows: i. Desist from any form of assault, obstruction, or disrespect toward law enforcement officers. Such actions are criminal and will be met with the full weight of the law. ii.Do not resort to self-help or mob action. Two wrongs do not make a right. iii.Channel all complaints of misconduct, brutality, or unlawful behaviour by any law enforcement agent to the appropriate authorities: the Police Complaints Response Unit, or the Office of the Director General, Security Matters. 5.We appeal for calm and urge citizens to allow the law to take its course in the Mene case. The security of lives and property requires the cooperation of all. Attacking officers makes policing difficult and endangers the entire community. The State Government remains committed to justice, accountability, and the protection of all residents. Hon. David Tonwe Director General, Security Matters/Coordinator Operation Sweep

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
