I feel sorry for Liverpool fans. They are dreaming of Alonso but will have to manage with Arne Slot. But to be honest, their fears are legitimate. Slot looks like he rode on Klopp's work to win the Premier League but is struggling to build his own team. Also, his style isn't impressive. If I were a Liverpool fan, I'd also be livid missing out on a club legend who is arguably a better coach. It's our gain if we land Alonso. It's an opportunity we can't afford to miss.
