Trump seems to believe that our NATO allies have some secret naval capacity to open the Strait that the USN for reason lacks but why would that be the case? It’s just very narrow.

@MalekaTaniela @EA2588 @mattyglesias @GibbsCalhoun Yes everyone knows that Rutte is a Trump fluffer. That's his whole role in NATO. Every US ally including Asian allies have said no to getting involved in Trump's quagmire. Not just in Europe, also Japan, Korea, Australia etc. have said no. x.com/business/statu…

Japan’s defense minister says the nation currently has no plans to send warships to the Strait of Hormuz after Trump put pressure on Tokyo to do so ahead of a summit meeting with Takaichi later this week bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

@ComicDaveSmith @RaisingWildfire @TheFP @KonstantinKisin The idea that rushing to a nuclear weapon following last year’s 12-day war was the only rational move on the Iranian regime’s part, is repudiated by Trump’s decision to totally annihilate the Iranian regime and its nuclear program. How did you guys miss the obvious?

Well, not exactly but I give @KonstantinKisin a lot of credit for this. I’ve seen very few guys who supported the “12 day war” explicitly on the ground that it was just a one off with no US deaths, no regional disasters or big price tag, express skepticism about this. It’s stunning how few, actually. I’m not lookin to collect “I told you so’s”. I think it’s very important that people hear this, especially on that platform

“The things that people are saying about the rationale for this conflict are not true,” says @KonstantinKisin. “I do not believe that Iran was about to pose a threat to the United States… Currently, as I sit here, I don't understand the strategy… I am seriously concerned this will drag on... I’m struggling to see how this ends well at this point.”

Out of curiosity Konstantin, why wouldn’t the rational thing for the Iranian regime to do, rather than rush to a nuclear weapon, be to acquiesce to US demands to give up nuclear weapons entirely, give up proxies and intercontinental ballistics, come out from sanctions and just get on with selling oil? It seems rational, given that what’s left of the regime is now staring into the abyss.

@MalekaTaniela @EA2588 @mattyglesias @GibbsCalhoun Yes they have a reason to secure the strait, the only problem is the strait is currently a kill box and very difficult to "secure". We'll wait this one out and wait to Trump to TACO is way out of it like he usually does whenever stock markets start tanking.

Joe Kent resigns and within an hour, he is booked on Tucker Carlson’s show. As soon as the show drops, hundreds of accounts all at once post the same clip with the same messaging. None of this is organic.

The ignorance is breathtaking. Trump discussed with his allies their willingness to lend support, but couldn’t even get runway access on remote atolls, such is the political force exerted by Islamists minorities in their open border countries. The unwillingness of our allies to enforce nuclear non-proliferation is absolutely pathetic. All the pussy-footing around years of bad faith negotiations is typical of the redundant power of Europe, and by extension NATO. The lip service paid by these so called allies in the form of, “no one is mourning the Ayatollah” when too feckless to act in an effective manner is embarrassing. Now, they are still too concerned with virtue signaling vs taking effective action over Hormuz. The US should pull out of NATO and force through the purchase of Greenland henceforth.

@EA2588 @mattyglesias @GibbsCalhoun NATO countries, and others, have a reason to secure the straight of Hormuz right now, quite independent of whether or not they agree with the initiation of this conflict. If you cannot see the reason, you should not be commenting here, because you are obviously too stupid.

For the sake of Jewish Americans, we must forcefully criminalize Zionism. Jewish Americans will not survive if we allow this poisonous rot to drag them down. All support for the State of Israel must be treated as giving aid and comfort to terrorists. Jews MUST denounce Zionism

Here’s what appears to be happening: 1. Tucker Carlson has allegedly been conducting his own foreign policy with Iran on behalf of the United States. 2. At some point, the CIA got wind of this and informed President Trump, who may then have used Tucker as an unwitting counterintelligence asset to feed faulty information to Iran. (BASED.) 3. Following the launch of Epic Fury, Tucker’s traitorous behavior may have finally caught up with him, as DOJ reportedly prepares a criminal complaint against him based on CIA intelligence. 🇮🇷 Bonus Round: An Example of Tucker Likely Parroting Iranian Regime Propaganda 🇮🇷 4. After the operation began, Iran sent IRGC agents to carry out attacks in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, but those plots were foiled. 5. Iran then told Tucker these were actually Mossad plots — a claim he pushed online and that spread like wildfire. 6. Saudi and Qatar had to publicly deny Tucker's fake news about the Mossad.

United Nations of Iran, South Africa and Jeffrey Sachs: “Israel has committed genocide!” Random honest onlooker: “Oh really? What’s the definition of genocide?” United Nations of Iran, South Africa and Jeffrey Sachs: “Don’t ask inconvenient questions, we will change the definition so that Israel has committed genocide”

Meanwhile, as everyone is distracted by the war in Iran, Israel is annihialting Southern Lebanon. They have displaced a million people! They've murdered over 600 civilians. And they're planning to occupy that land and make it part of Greater Israel. The land theft continues.
