@Dizzy_Slime @Ceaseless_boid A workaround could be linking it to your weapon's firing mechanism, which would shut off the shield for a split second to let your projectile pass through

@Ceaseless_boid Tbh if the shields worked realistically, we wouldnt be able to shoot through them since they are kinetic based. They stop anything going past a certain speed which is why they are walls that stop charger charges. Which I always find amusing to watch.

In some way this feel more realistic than anything
Since shield and laser seem to be made of the same technology and function, it’s possible that they just combine when touching
Just an in game explanation, this bug still need to be fixed

Love the new "realism" change in Helldivers 2 where the directional shield blocks my own lasers. Makes total sense a sci-fi shield can’t tell friend from enemy, really immersive when I’m my own biggest counter. Thank you Arrowhead.

And the best tools for that got *better*, not worse. Explosives, Fire, Gas. It buffed the best tools and heavily nerfed a bunch of others.

Heavy devs' weak spot instantly kills them and is completely unprotected by their shield.
Don't compare separate enemies from separate factions, it just comes off as you being dumb on purpose.

@TaffyTheChipori @Helldivers_NOW The EAT can actually reliably be used for its intended purpose, unlike the bullet storm which doesn't even help you aim at weakpoints. Whereas the Stalwart has almost as much ammo in one mag, a good sight, and decent handling

I think both have their own niches, I just think Bullet Storm has higher dmg potential in a pinch

@Mali__1337 @Helldivers_NOW si pierdo la stalwart tengo que ir a buscarla, con esto uso la estratagema y ya estoy listo de nuevo y además otra que se queda en el mapa, literal cada minuto tienes la estratagema lista, incluso puedes usar la bala del despliegue para eliminar enemigos grandes, cada minuto.
