@IRanMediaco Security for what, does the straight of hormuz require repairs? Iran should not start behaving badly when we all had some level of sympathy. The straight should be opened without conditions. Otherwise countries that consume oil from Iran can as well start exploring alternatives.

It’s not good to keep quiet when the road to Singapore (Kenya) is full of potholes… I’m seeing lots of unnecessary spending outside the budget abusing Article 223, posing serious fiscal risks. Parliament must amend Article 223 for Bicameral Approval UPFRONT, not post-ratification! You can’t tell me AFCON hosting fees (KSh 3.9B) were never planned known commitment, yet rushed via 223?

@NelsonHavi Some Commissioners are not advocates, and others do not need to practice to eat.

@_kenyayetu We are not in a position to compare all, but from the time we were born, Kibaki stands out. While Kenyatta 1 secured our independence, Moi maintained peace and unity, Uhuru did infrastructure, Ruto is two years old in office.

@realDonaldJNews Yet another crazy gaffe and unsubstantiated claim. No wonder the stars in your flag are falling.

@gpdkaluma What if they were to ask the same question? This is literally undermining the sovereignty of another country by looking down on it as lesser. Democracy is about freedom to choose, to express self without being harassed and embracing each other even during intense political compe

@MigunaMiguna @WilliamsRuto Quote the law on the 52 tribesmen. It's only realistic to live within the confines of the law, this country is our home. You want bloodshed when you are already in Colorado with your family. Give us a break Miguna.

@kipmurkomen I think, I think Ababu Namwamba was doing fairly well in that docket. Safari rally, Football, athletics were becoming active with minimal complaints. How you will fit into his shoes only God knows.

The level of disrespect for leaders and violence in our society is shocking. Stoning a leader in these circumstances is barbaric.

@EACCKenya EACC has a constitutional duty of deterring corruption and therefore Kenyans are concerned on your admission that you cannot bar a corrupt leader from taking public office. Then why do you exist? What is the purpose of EACC?

ROLE OF EACC IN THE VETTING OF CS NOMINEES
The Commission has noted a false narrative being bandied around by a section of leaders that it "refused to clear Hon. Wycliffe Oparanya for appointment as Cabinet Secretary." This is not the true position.
The Commission clarifies that in its role in the integrity vetting of candidates for public office under the current law, the Commission cannot clear or bar anyone from holding any office in the land. What the Commission does is to provide facts on record regarding the integrity status of each candidate as at the material date, without passing any judgment.
The Commission did this for ALL the CS nominees upon the request of Parliament. It is now up to the Parliamentary Vetting Committee to decide what to do with that information. For more clarity, there is nowhere in our letter to the National Assembly where the Commission recommended that anybody should or should not be cleared or appointed.
The said letter is part of Parliamentary records and anyone can get a copy and read for themselves.
Relatedly, the Commission's communication with the DPP on his change of mind on the prosecution of Hon. Wycliffe Oparanya is a completely different and broader issue and in response to his letter to the Commission on the same.

@WaruiJohn2 Looks good. Make Kivutha Kibwana the Chief Cabinet Secretary & Incharge of Devolution Ministry, and I will board.

@OfficialMakueni @GvnMutula Kivutha Kibwana left a drilling rig for the county. A whole 24 months, 34 boreholes is a shame. It's an average of one borehole per Ward. One bore per ward for 24 months against 24 Billion is a huge embarassment.
