Orvar Nilsson was a Swedish volunteer in Finland 1939 - 1944, all the way to the bitter end. He was made an honorary citizen of Finland and to his dying day in 2008 considered Finland his second homeland. I stand at attention for men like him...

@TimHermansson A real hero. These swedish guys fought in IR 13 in the swedish platoon and where in some of the worst fights in the battle of Tali-Ihantala. They hold their positions despite heavy losses. Respect from Finland.

@TimHermansson What you omitted to say is that Finland was fighting on the side of Nazi Germany. Although, you might consider it as a positive thing, it is not.

Note the difference between Wikipedia's first paragraph on George Floyd compared to the first paragraph from Grokipedia. The nuance and detail on Grokipedia is FAR superior to Wikipedia and is clearly not pushing any ideologies, unlike Wikipedia. Corrections like this are critical to our AI future. Thank you Elon and @xai

Freedom is not about saying nice things or agreeing with those in power. It is not flattering the President of the United States. It is the right to express your point of view without government interference. We must not allow anybody to take that freedom away from us.

Russia must feel the consequences of what it is doing. Sufficient counteraction is needed to force them to seek peace. That can be achieved with adequate strength of our army, our long-range strike capabilities, and strong sanctions and pressure against Russia. Right now, we are defending ourselves from Russian attacks almost every day. This week alone, there were more than 1,500 strike drones, over 1,280 guided aerial bombs, and 50 missiles of various types. Thousands of foreign components have been found in this weaponry – more than 132,000 items – from many countries: Europe, the United States, China, Japan, and dozens of others. All these technologies help Russia create weapons on a large scale. All for the sake of terror against our people. If Russia is not stopped, this will surely become a threat to the countries of Europe and the Indo-Pacific. Strong sanctions are an instrument that will help stop this. We must cut off all possible supply routes and means of evading sanctions, and exert pressure on the countries and individual companies that aid them. Our partners have this power – the power that must protect life. We count on the 19th EU sanctions package to be truly painful, and on the United States to join the Europeans. I thank all those who are already helping.

Evil clowns. Last week, Putin visited a factory (Motovilikhinskie zavody) and met "workers." And of course - of course! - the "workers" were the same security officers who posed as "fishermen" he met 2016, "grieving widows" in 2017, and "soldiers" in 2022. A traveling circus.

The only person worth talking about after the Alaska spectacle is not a politician, but a journalist. Her name is Rachel V. Scott, Senior Political Correspondent at ABC News. She was the one who asked Putin the question that mattered: “Will you stop killing civilians?” 1/n

No, Russia didn’t hack voting machines in 2016. It hacked something bigger—your perception. This thread answers real questions, using only the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee’s 2019 report. Recognize this building? No? You should. It got us Trump. Let’s clear this up:

Until recently when social trust evaporated, it was common. It started because before modern heating methods, Scandinavians burned peat for heating and cooking fuel which produces a lot of smoke. This made the air inside homes unhealthy to breathe. Babies who napped outside breathed clean air and were healthier. The practice did not stop when indoor air got cleaner.
