My phone started acting up on the 3rd while in Hombolo and Veyula. By 11pm in Dodoma it completely shut down,failed to charge and wouldn’t restart. Yesterday I had to board the SGR from Dodoma to Dar at 5am (just a 4-hour trip) but it turned into the longest,most stressful journey.I was completely off-grid with no way to contact my hosts in Dar,yet I had farms scheduled to visit. Many people tried to help,but the language barrier (I don’t speak Swahili) made it harder. 15 hours later,I finally got rescued. Now safe and sound in Dar ready to meet the farmers.
