Big win for the UAE. And a brutal exposure of Muslim Brotherhood apologists hiding behind “academia.” In Belfast, Dr. krieg was found guilty of pushing false claims against the UAE. Not surprising. He’s been one of the loudest voices laundering narratives for Brotherhood-linked Islamists in the West. Court didn’t buy it. His work is being pulled apart, his book facing destruction, and his credibility is done. This is what happens when propaganda meets facts. And let’s be honest. The same circles that scream “free speech” are the first to protect Islamist networks like Islamic Relief. Operating freely in the UK, while flagged by the UAE for channeling funds into extremist ecosystems across the region. They tried to make criticism costly. Instead, they exposed themselves. Good riddance @andreas_krieg 😂👋🏻

My statement outside the High Court today:

PAUL TWEED - APOLOGY In my book, “Subversion: The Strategic Weaponization of Narratives”, I made a number of false, unfair and defamatory allegations and inferences relating to the work of the international media lawyer, Paul Tweed. I regret that Mr Tweed was collateral damage in my critical agenda relating to the UAE. I unreservedly retract these totally unfounded allegations and sincerely apologise to Mr Tweed for questioning his impartiality and integrity and for the untrue allegations, which I never should have made or published in the first place. I have also deleted a tweet referring to Mr Tweed’s work, which the Court has found to be defamatory. In addition to the other terms of settlement, as a mark of my regret and at Mr Tweed’s request, I am making a charitable donation to Reporters Without Borders (RSF). Missile threats from #Iran in #Dubai this morning: our team received yet another alert on our phones - this time, while we were on air on a balcony. About 10 seconds later, we heard two blasts in the distance. Dubai is emptier than usual, but as we peered down into the city, construction workers were carrying on with their tasks. Cars were still driving. More details on our BBC live page. Authorities say they have intercepted the attacks, with no injuries reported.
