2027 won’t be a democratic contest in the way people imagine it. It will be a stress test of political machinery vs political illusion. And most people are betting on illusions.

The woman i wanted to buy vegetables from said she doesn't accept transfer. I wanted to pay 5,700naira. I was about leaving to withdraw so I could pay her. She called me back and said she does POS. I told her I don't have my card with me and I'll still have to transfer. She said she accepts transfer for POS and not for her goods because they are two different businesses. She owns both. So I'll patronise her in two ways. It felt like cheating. I just left the sliced vegetable and left her stall.

Since Peter Obi left the coalition, he hasn’t gained any new useful supporter; instead, he keeps losing key and intelligent people around him. They claim to have registered over 10 million virtual members in NDP, yet those numbers can’t translate into real political strength, that’s why they are afraid of primaries. It’s self-deception at its peak. As 2026/2027 approaches, some of his own inner circle members will campaig against him, and that’s when everyone will finally see how empty that man truly is.

The ink with which I wrote this has not even dried up and the fragmentation has already happened. No matter how strong the base of Peter Obi is, he can't keep running at every slightest hint of political challenge. Leadership starts from fighting and winning your political base.
Ayò-Bánkólé Akíntújoyè@AyoBankole

I have always been a believer that a 2party system is what Nigeria needs and can ensure politicians rally around two strong platforms. It's also the only system that can stop political fragmentation that weakens opposition. I hope ADC unites behind an emerging candidate & not further fragment.

When Obi went to collect his NDC card, he said "it's a shame that Nigeria have no National Carrier". A man who was a governor when our national carrier died. Many State Governors now have their state carriers, some are even flying international now. Ogun State has international Airport and State carrier, Akwa Ibom has, Enugu has, etc.....Obi was Governor for 8 years, the only thing he did was Herobeer factory!!!

statements like this raise a valid question about his leadership style. At times, he appears more cautious than confrontational, especially in moments that require strong political resistance. Leadership isn’t just about presenting ideas it’s about standing firm, taking risks, and pushing through opposition. That’s where some people feel he hasn’t done enough.

I will do my very best to ensure that Arewa communities know these three facts about Peter Obi before the 2027 general elections. 1. Peter Obi is a major shareholder and former chairman of International Breweries (a major investor in alcoholic beverages). 2. He betrayed Atiku Abubakar (a son of Arewa). 3. He once chased our Northern people out of Anambra State when he was governor. Our people need to know that Peter Obi is likely to invest our money in beer companies (Subhanallah). Our people also need to know that PO is a betrayer, and they must be reminded of how he chased us out of his state

For what it’s worth, Sen. Adams Oshiomhole should always be in the Nigerian Senate, he is a debater, who speaks loudly and clearly and takes positions that reminds one of the essence for parliamentary debates. He will do great in Opposition

The folks who put in the hardest work building the ADC in the last two years are clearly very upset about the last-minute decamping. Do you think the NDC people will welcome them warmly and trust them, or they don’t really care? Decamping has become a soul-less endeavor.

My best advice to Atiku Abubakar now is for him to step aside and endorse Peter Obi for President. It’s better to make this decision now than to lose at the polls in 2027. Now that Atiku / Obi ticket didn’t work, I don’t see any running mate from the South that can coast Atiku to victory in 2027. I’ve always emphasized on Atiku / Obi tickets backed by Obidients or Atiku steps aside to support PO. For optics, it’s even good on him, at least it’ll be on record that an ambitious Northerner like Atiku who has been contesting since 1993 stepped down for Peter Obi, paving way for a South Easterner, especially considering the fact that they’ve not produced the President and VP post democracy. ‘ The serial Presidential loser ‘ tag will as well fade away from Atiku. Additionally, the ‘Fulani born to rule mentality’ will no longer stand. Facts are stubborn.

When i said that Peter Obi is a very selfish politician, most people thought i was joking. He didn't consult with his followers before leaving the ADC. People have been building structures at the state and national level for over 1 year, you want them to just follow you like that, without any explanation?
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour@GRVlagos

To those who have made the difficult decision to move on to a new platform, I offer my genuine respect and best wishes. These are hard choices,We are all fighting for a better Nigeria, even when our roads diverge. I want to make it clear that I am staying in the (ADC). 🤝

The APC led government is actively building two major gas pipelines across the country, AKK and OB3 with the Nigeria - Morrocco gas pipeline also in the works. AKK to supply the North which had been cut off from gas distribution for since independence. The impact of AKK would be transformational for industries and power plants in the North. The APC government also built NLNG train 7. The Escravos gas pipeline phase 1 was built in 1989 and the phase 2 was built in 2018. Apart from the West African Gas pipeline built in 2008, no government has invested much in gas infrastructure, despite our abundant gas resources. 80% of our power generation comes from gas. PBAT at the NESG summit mentioned that our gas is useless in the ground if we can't push it out. From 1999 to 2015. Nigeria only managed to build one major gas pipeline. There is a reason why some of us won't stay here and argue with ignorant folks or content creators whose only talent was memorising states and capitals like a primary school boy.

At least, build on the relationship. Have that sexual relations free mindedly like a normal person. Enjoy each other's company for the sake of it and savour the intimacy within. If you have an emergency or have a fiancial need you can't sort yourself and need assistance, you can always ask. That way, the relationship exists healthily, the respect remains, and you have someone you can always rely on financially if shit hit the fan. It is better than demanding payment for that particular sexual encounter because that is all you're ever gonna get. Payment for service is complete and relationship is non-existent.
