Strong government policy to address cost of living, provides the largest benefits to those in greatest need. Eliminating the provincial gas tax provides the largest benefits to those who drive the most, and own the biggest vehicles.

Provencher Boulevard is such a lost opportunity. Instead of being a vibrant neighbourhood high street, it’s a funnel for cars and trucks. The BIZ opposes bike lanes to ‘maintain the character of the boulevard’. Shouldn’t the goal be to improve its character as a place for people?

This was me fresh out of school 16 years ago. It was a dream job but on a day-to-day contract. I worked hard hoping to land something permanent, then one day, the contract ended.
