And we did all this while continuing to do what makes Abacus Data unique: we told stories about what Canadians are thinking, feeling, in ways informed decisions and changed outcomes. ⚡️ We spoke at 50+ events, conventions, conferences and board meetings to thousands of leaders, changemakers, and influencers. ⬆️ We expanded our client roster to over 380 organizations from the largest multinationals to small, but mighty local non-profits. 🗞️ We were cited by media around the world who turn to us for deep, thoughtful insights into what Canadians are thinking. 🎯 We released innovating new products and frameworks that helped make sense of the world around me like precaritymindset.com, poll-decoder.com, and abacus-weighting.com. 📣 We grew our content community with 50,000+ social followers, 22,000 substack subscribers, and 6,800 Worth a Look newsletter subscribers. Our content reaches decision makers, influencers, and thought leaders directly. So what’s next? 🤔 Three years from now, here’s what I want to be able to say about Abacus Data. 1️⃣ That we built a firm with offices in eight cities, not three across Canada and beyond. 2️⃣ That our recurring subscription products generate real revenue, not rounding errors. 3️⃣ That clients call senior people on our team by name, not just me. 4️⃣ That the best young researchers in the country assume we’re where they’ll work. 5️⃣ That we remain one of the most trusted, sought-after and influential market and opinion research teams in the country whose insights inform decisions, attract organizations that matter, and explore topics that make our world better. We’ve spent the last year laying the foundation: new partnerships, new products, new people, and some moves we haven’t announced yet (so excited to share!) The next three years are about building on it. The vision is clear. The team is in place.
