News: Lyari police reportedly searching for Indian spies after Dhurandhar buzz. They are going crazy. Reminder: this is the same system that let Osama bin Laden live quietly in Abbottabad for years. Now finds its sharpest vigilance activated by movies.

Look at the Intellectual Bankruptcy of those opposing Dhurandhar. Here a panelist falsely claiming film is based on Indian Army Major working in Pakistan. They don’t know the basic fact that Indian Army operates in Kashmir, not Pakistan. Film is on a Covert Op by Unknown Gunmen.

Blasphemy laws don’t defend God; they defend power. They turn hurt feelings into FIRs and let fundamentalists use the criminal system as a playground for religious one‑upmanship. At the launch of #Blasphemy, the new book by @kushal_mehra at @titlewavesMUM with @harshmadhusudan @6amiji @Iyervval, this line cut through the room like a quiet verdict on how “hurt sentiments” often serve control, not conscience.

Yuvraj Mehta's tragic death caused outrage but hardly anyone has kept track of what happened after the media cycle died down. Appreciate such creators for providing updates otherwise everyone just moves on. Requesting Yogiji to make sure no one is spared.

There was an old india that allowed white sofa-shit-stainers to become the narrators of India to the outside world. Sadly the new india also feels the need for cockney validation. He plagiarised odd-compass & Sanyal & all the “nationalists” got in line to fellate him.

You have a full claim to the Ganga as an Indian but please stop this rubbish about it being a river of many faiths. Because the way you use the word "faith" is extremely fast and loose and deeply undermines the piety Hindus associate. Otherwise the Kaaba is a structure of many faiths. It is literally as absurd as that.

The in-house intellectual of The News Minute arrested over sexual harassment complaints from multiple women. Almost on cue, the outlet quietly scrubs its earlier hagiographic pieces on him. An act as telling as it is unsurprising. Presumably as a diversionary tactics, TNM's self-appointed intersectional feminist brigade feigning outrage in far more animated over a casual misogynistic remark by an AIADMK leader. The performative outrage that feels curiously selective, especially when they routinely blank out the routine vulgarity and bile that certain DMK-voices and sometimes even normalise perhaps as professional service .

Dhruv Rathee criticized Priyanka Chopra for being silent at Gaza during the Academy Awards. Dhruv Rathee Said : Neutrality is a Privilege!! By the same logic, Dhruv Rathee could have made Video and Reels on Pakistan bombing Kabul and Killing 400 innocent Civilians!! Dhruv Rathee has 32 Million Followers on YouTube, 3.2 Million Followers on X and 17 Million Followers on Instagram. One video could have exposed Pakistan and it's Army!! But he chose to remain neutral!! Or Dhruv Rathee chose money coming from Pakistani Viewers..

@k4r4n_singh @Iam_Rohit_G Talking only about India, while leaving in Germany, that too while espousing the left liberal philosophy of being a Global Citizen..and keeping mum about a hospital being attacked itself is a privilege. Aur Ullu..how on earth is Palestine is an Indian issue?

@Iam_Rohit_G You are obsessed about pakistan but not everyone needs to. We will focus on Indian issues and Indian people. Priyanka chopra promotes herself as Indian. Hence he asked the question.

A blatant overreach that mocks the very principles of justice - this is exactly what Emergency looks like, except that this time round the unelected have declared it. On this, one of the darkest of days in the history of Indian Judiciary, I stand with Michel Danino. Always will.

“The Supreme Court banning Prof Michel Danino and others for their NCERT chapter on judicial corruption, is nothing short of judicial dictatorship.” Thank you, @priyankac19, for being the voice of a billion Indians. You have said what the govt and its law minister should have.

Point me to ONE scene where Indian Muslims are shown with hate. Just one. You won’t because the film doesn’t target a community, it shows terror networks, geopolitics and the cost India has paid for decades. But every time that reality is shown, the same narrative comes out ‘Islamophobia’, ‘propaganda’, ‘boycott’. Why? Because calling out Pakistan’s role or exposing cross-border terror suddenly becomes hate towards muslims? Strange how there’s silence when bombs go off, when soldiers die, when civilians are targeted but all these rage erupts over a film. And now Nuremberg comparisons for filmmakers? That’s not even criticism anymore that’s desperation. If showing truth hurts, maybe the problem isn’t the film it’s the discomfort with what it reflects. Pehle movie hi dekh lete. Pehle hi script prepare kar li.
