We have no business paying this much tax in South Africa Especially with the amount of corruption going on in this country.

@MandeyT @nasiphim @CityTshwane They are disgusting !!! They switched off our lights claiming we tampered with our meter and we didn’t . It took 6 days to resolve it and when they eventually came back to reconnect , they reconnected with high voltage and burned our appliances!!!!!

@nasiphim @MandeyT @CityTshwane Check your electricity smart meter offices as well. The guy wanted me to R 2000 to have my post paid electricity converted to prepaid. Saying if I dont pay, the process takes 6 months. Likely I didn't buy it, meter was installed in 3 days.

@nasiphim @MandeyT @CityTshwane Try calling the call centre and try to do basic things. Once took me 4 transfers to report a fire next to a substation. Call them and understand our frustrations

@nasiphim @CityTshwane I have multiple unresolved issues that are more than 3 years old. I have sent in an email and multiple complains regarding my logged calls. I don't get assistance. I'm beyond fed up and very frustated...to say the least.

I was following up on an inquiry I had logged 3 weeks and she just said she can only escalate and nothing else. Luckily someone doing inspections was able to escalate for me on the spot and issue was attended
