@SpillingTheBean As we Speak.. The crop would staight away be off by 20% from last year Due to unbearable heat... Irrespective of Rains, Irrespective of Irrigating or not.. In case if we happen to receive Heavy Non Stop Rains during Rainey season.. Then its 40%off the books from last year.
@SpillingTheBean Yes we did observe pinking but more so in Robusta towards the third/fourth week of March and early April when some of coffee growing areas got the first of the scanty rains which initiated the bud movement. The searing heat in April then just burnt these buds dry.
@SpillingTheBean Same here in kerala as temparature has reached all time high last week in coffee growing areas in kerala and soil temparature almost to 42°c in non irrigated areas

@SpillingTheBean KC price is going down together with all commodities. Funds are long so we have additional risk of liquidation. Diffs are smaller everyday. Spreads too. Everything points down at least in the short term.

@SpillingTheBean You said it Right as Always.. Me coming from a small coffee Growing area from India Karnataka Kodagu have been following your tweets and its turned out to be spot on.. Yes, Weather has created havoc and coffee has been hit very badly.why is there no acceptance.
